Like several before me it seems like this guy needs so much on an emotional level can't really express much even tho he's very intellectual/intelligent but not only does his demeanor cause misunderstanding but there seems to be an insensitive/lack of awareness on his part and its like ppl closest to him get upset but he's still sitting there clueless as to why lol

Has anyone experienced a friendship, coworker, family member or lover who had Venus either square or opposite Saturn in the natal chart?

What works to open them up and express their Venus?

I have Venus opposite Saturn and fell in love with a man that had same placement. For me, you must show consistent stability in your emotions and feelings towards me, that means no push pull although I might be this way at times but you shouldn't because there's a fear of rejection with this placement. Have your stuff together financially and career wise, and show that you care/desire.

Venus Saturn people need to feel loved and secure. That's the best you can do for them. If not love then show you like them.

Thank u guys! I figured because I have Venus conjunct Saturn in my chart but felt the square and opposition had it worse

There were ppl around him that would've been amazing loving friends but he still had an insensitivity like no matter what he still has a part of him that resorts to scheming to get what he wants which sends bad vibes and ruins his relationships but that probably has more to do with his Neptune

I've never tried getting through to a venus-saturn native, but as I have Venus square Saturn, I understand what it's like to be behind that wall.

The way to get through to me? Patience, slow trust, reassurance are all key. Don't come on too strong as he may just not believe you.

If someone likes me, I assume that they don't really want me or that I'm just convenient or that I'm being played. Tell me you love me and I'll go cold, because 'who in their right mind would really love me?'.

As a consequence, I realised recently that I'm in my mid-30s and have never really been loved - because in the past I've gone with guys who have reinforced my beliefs that I'm not really lovable.

It's a tough path to walk, and lonely at times. But with patience and genuine unconditional love, there is hope.
