What does everyone think of this theory?? The idea being that the south node of a couple's composite chart represents the energy/karma they bring into the relationship/their life together.I did some research on the south node of the composite I have with the person I'm seeing and it definitely rings true for us! I just wonder if it resonates with anyone else? Theories?? ------------------ Sun - Taurus // Moon - Aries // ASC - Cancer // Mercury - Aries // Venus - Taurus // Mars - Pisces IP: Logged |

I think so. I had composite Sun conjunct South Node and Vesta with my greatest heartbreak, and South Node conjunct Juno in synastry with another "karmic" person.IP: Logged |

Beautiful_Light, that's fascinating!! Can you elaborate more, if it's not too personal?? I'm very intrigued. IP: Logged |

It's very intriguing. Neptune is conjunct the south node in the composite with my current love interest. I have been wondering about this myself and can find little information on it,I think it has to indicate some sort of past life connectionIP: Logged |

I very much agree with this - even the house and sign can give a lot of information. I don't know if anyone's read Steven Forrest's work but I love the way he describes the process of using each of these elements as clues to building up the back story - this works even as an analogy.Eg in the composite (and davison) with my good friend, we have NN in cancer, SN in capricorn in the first. The analogy I've built up is around us having a past life backstory of being rival leaders in industry, probably even harmful to each other's cause despite a shared purpose. We have mercury on it, too, (2deg). I can totally go with the idea of people being screwed over in a boardroom, or having comms sabotaged in order to reach the goal. The contrast is that we need to come together in this life to learn how to be nice to each other - which ironically is probably quite a challenge for both of us as we have definite lone wolf tendencies It's fascinating stuff. With the South Node-Vesta guy, I loved him deeply for over 3 years but circumstances kept us apart. Somehow I knew he would end up with someone else. I think he's the first person to have ever loved me unconditionally and to this day, I'm not sure what really happened. I know he travels dimensions and possibly he was possessed by some force that awakened love in me. A psychic told me he is a Starseed. I wished for him to forget our love because I didn't want him to suffer like me. God granted us to meet again 2 years ago and it turns out he really did have amnesia. And last year I found out of his new relationship. Though I will move on, he made a deep, deep mark on me. With the other guy, I met him while travelling recently and it was instant attraction for both of us. We have Psyche-Pluto and Karma-Valentine conunctions as well. My Eros conjunct his North Node but his Eros conjunct my Saturn. He made it clear he wanted a sexual relationship with me but I'm not having that in this life Ah, I just realized another guy that liked me during my trip has his Sun conjunct my South Node in synastry! Interesting thought. In the composite with someone close to me, the SN sits at 1 Libra. Now, in the composite chart, that SN squares cHypnos and trines cJuno/Venus (ruler of c7th/8th Houses) but when you compare composite to natal, you get cSN: conjunct their Sun/Moon midpoint conjunct their South Node conjunct their Mars (5 degrees) conjunct my South Node (our age difference gives us the same Nodal Axis) conjunct my Jupiter/Uranus opposes my Sun/North Node/Chiron square their Neptune/Ceres So, with the above in mind, I wonder if those respective natal contacts would clue into the lingering South Node karma via the planets/points that are connecting. Again, interesting thought to consider. 😊 IP: Logged |
