Let's talk chart (and house) rulers in synastry - this always leaves me in a complete pickle and would love any insight into simplifying things please!First. When comparing aspects between charts, is it the positioning of Person A's chart ruler making an aspect to Person B's own chart ruler the key element.
So, Person A has Aqua Rising, and their Uranus is aspecting Person B's chart ruler, say Jupiter.
What if the ruler of Person A's chart(eg uranus and Saturn) makes significant aspects to elements within Person B's chart, is this also noteworthy?
Eg Person A has Aqua Rising. In Person B's chart, Uranus is exactly conjunct Person B's ascendant (and person A and person B's names). Also in Person B's chart, Saturn is exactly conjunct Person B's Sun, in the 11th House.
Does this come under the umbrella of chart ruler aspects? Or is it just nice, but insignificant?
Second. Do chart rulers continue to have an influence with other contacts across the charts?
Eg Person A (with Aqua Rising), has Saturn in the 8th House. Person B has Saturn conjunct sun in Scorpio. Person A's Saturn also exactly conjuncts Person B's Venus and Mars in the 8th.
Does the added 'influence' of Saturn add extra emphasis to all other Saturn aspects?
Similarly, Person B's chart ruler, Jupiter, is exactly conjunct Person A's MC and Valentine; and is opposite Person B's Venus. (Person A's Jupiter also exactly conjuncts Valentine)
I realise this is long and probably confusing, but I've always wondered, is chart rulership influence only one way (ie the person with the chart ruler having and feeling the influence), or do the chart ruler planets generally receive extra emphasis all across both charts when looking at synastry?
