*Forehead

I want to know if there is an Ascendant sign, or maybe an aspect of some kind that TENDS to give someone whose hairline is very high, giving off a big looking forehead.

The reason I ask this is because I know someone who has 5 siblings, and she is the only one with this trait amongst them all. I read somewhere if one person in the family has this trait (especially a large family), then it must have a strong astrological influence.

There's no single 'large forehead' factor. It's not one sign, but a few sign/planet aspects that have this potentially.

Aries itself is not necessarily an indicator of a large forehead, but when added to other factors such as planets in Virgo as with David Souter, or Moon in major aspect to Asc as with Martin Luther King Jr, it could be the correct rising sign. (MLK's Asc was 21° Aries/8° south contra-parallel Moon and Venus, both 8° south.)

Fixed signs on the Asc show up in wider faces more often than others, so this can create what some would call a large forehead. Even Taurus risers like Signourney Weaver and Joe Pesci show this. You can see those examples in zodiacal order on the page I linked above for Aries.

A high hairline is often seen with mutable signs, but Pisces normally shows a forehead that tapers nicely inward rather than enlarging. Virgo rising more often has a wider forehead.

Uranus/Aquarius Ascendant can accompany wider, squarish foreheads and high hairlines. Uranus closely conjunct/parallel, square, opposite/contraparallel Asc can seem to do this alone.

Sometimes it is multiple aspects that team up, such as Uranus and Neptune conjunct/parallel Asc.

Look to other factors of personality as primary indicators of what the person's rising sign is.

Thanks. If I can just point out one thing, this particular girl, she is rather tall (5'9) and also has what I believe are called ROUNDED shoulders. When you see her from the side, she has a natural hunched over look, even when standing straight, with a subtle forward leaning head. You know what I mean?

Also, personality wise, she is extremely outgoing. I've was with her one time, we were in her car, she was driving, and she pulled over to talk to a few random men playing pickup basketball at a playground. She just pulls over, starts calling out to them, they walk towards her car and she just has a natural and easy going conversation with them for a little bit. And these are complete strangers...and it was at night! She even offered them some of the candy she was eating.

One time we were eating at a restaurant with friends, and someone dared her to get up and start randomly dancing, and she did.

So, she is definitely not shy, and will do very outgoing and spontaneous things like described above, talk to random strangers, extremely sociable, has few close friends but knows a TON of people. She also has kind of a "diva" attitude, can be bossy towards her siblings, despite being the youngest.

Don't know if any of that helps

Not really, you've given no birthdate or even a noon chart for astrological context.

Mohini108,

You've given a pretty decent sketch of your friend and it points strongly to fire factors. Since you gave the birth date 17 Oct 1996, let's look at what the possibilities are ...

First, Moon moved from Sagittarius to Capricorn that day (20° Sag - 4° Cap). So you might be able to eliminate the last few hours of the day when Moon is in Cap since it would also be square Saturn, which doesn't sound fitting based on what you described with her spontaneous dancing in a restaurant. That sounds much more Moon in Sag. Moon in Capricorn people are typically formal and organized in their social interaction, not spontaneously outgoing as you described.

So that eliminates everything after Aquarius in the PM.

Moon was at 18 south declination all day, making no parallel or contra-parallel that would fire up her personality that way. However, earlier in the day Moon was trine Mars 22 Leo. So we should look earlier in the day.

Going back to 0:00 and early morning rising signs, toss out Cancer and Virgo there. We'll keep Leo for now because of the fire factor.

Libra rising, especially with Asc near Sun, is possible, but not highly likely. We'll keep it for now.

I think we can eliminate Scorpio, and now we come to Sagittarius, the most likely fit for her personality overall as you describe it.

Asc in early Sagittarius could be conjunct Pluto, which can sometimes indicate a fearless personality, especially with Asc in a fire sign. It could also be parallel Uranus and Neptune, but I want to keep looking ...

Capricorn can probably be eliminated, even an Asc conjunct Jupiter 10 Cap.

Asc in late Aquarius could be square Pluto 1 Sag. I think it is more possible than Capricorn.

So based on what you've told me the strongest possibilities are #1 Sagittarius rising, and secondly Leo or Aquarius rising.
