So I generated the discovery chart for both Nessus and Dejanira and then did a composite chart of those two discovery charts. What I found is very interesting... In the discovery chart of Dejanira you see: Mars conjunct Saturn squaring Pluto In the discovery chart of Nessus you see: Mars inconjunct Saturn Mars trine Pluto When Saturn is in hard aspect to Mars it means Mars is afflicted and then you add Pluto to the mix aspecting harshly mars too and we get issues around abuse, force/aggression/power been misused. This goes in line with my observations I have had of Nessus and Dejanira. I have found nessus to be very active in charts of people who have experienced sexual abuse. I think that both Nessus and Dejanira are targets to abuse and this is part of the reason why they find each other bc they have similar wounds, what is different is that they deal with their wounds differently. ^^Further with the strong emphasis in Cancer a lot of the abuse nessus experiences perhaps often stems from childhood abuse or trauma.. Nessus holds grudges and wants revenge, he has moon and mars in cancer giving him a great memory (not to mention cancer is the most likely sign to commit murder and a crime of passion according to FBI data) and venus in aries at fall with pluto in scorpio so Nessus is prone to act on impulse and its easier for him to cut people off even if attached emotionally and be vindictive instead of taking the higher moral ground. Dejanira with moon in capricorn at fall square chiron has a hard time processing her trauma so gets stuck with her healing process feeling like a victim bc she does not know how to access her emotions and allow herself to fully feel them so she can let them go, integrate the trauma, heal and move on. She feels too vulnerable to allow herself to feel her emotions so she does not feel in control, powerless and stuck in limbo mode. Emotions are a source of power, been in touch with your emotions assists with integration allowing you to heal. Anyways I am going to see if there is a high correlation between PTSD and Dejanira as only 25% of people who experience trauma go on to develop PTSD. I would not be surprised if these 25% have Dejanira activating their chart in important spots. Composite Chart for Nessus and Dejanira has:
Sun conjunct Pluto forming a stellium with VENUS which forms a grand trine with jupiter and chiron!- Hence why these connections lead to obsession and are so bonding and part of the bonding stems from sharing traumatic events together which by coming together are brought to the surface (sun conjunc pluto) but Sun conjunct Pluto forms a stellium with Venus which forms a grand trine with Jupiter and Chiron. This adds to the intensity and vulnerability and shows that is a union with great POWER that can be used for destruction and abuse or for healing, transformation and regeneration. I can see how some people with these connections can come together to heal old wounds but there is also a lot of potential for repeating old toxic scripts and hurting each other. Interestingly chiron in the grand trine is applying to Pluto and Venus but separating from the Sun so perhaps the power of love is ultimately suppose to prevail and the ego to diffuse so it does not get in way of the healing process.

OK so I am looking at several charts of people I know as a fact have experienced sexual abuse and they all have either Nessus square PLUTO or Dejanira Square Pluto regardless of gender, I have examples of both genders with both of these aspects. A friend of mine that experienced sexual abuse as an adult has Nessus square Mars conjunct Uranus (cab driver).I would say though that Dejanira seems to be more strongly correlated with abuse but Nessus I also see a lot!! but with Nessus it seems to also be correlated with abusing. Nessus having a vindictive mentality is more likely to deal with abuse by becoming an abuser, she has a lot of sag influence in her chart so more likely to take higher moral ground specially considering her in control moon in cap that will not act on emotional and her stoic mars in aquarius. It seems Nessus has a higher chance of dealing with abuse by also abusing in some way. Like OJ has nessus square pluto and Saturn with Dejanira square venus. Nicole Brown had Nessus conjunct Sun, opposite Jupiter and square chiron. There are reports he was raped in jail too. IP: Logged |

I am well, thank you! Lots going on for me right now so can't be on the computer much at all these days-- life is brilliant... I just popped back on yesterday and felt a lot of joy and inspiration seeing the rush of positive exchanges and intelligent, caring conversation flourishing here... what a beautiful place it is (and always has been, so special to me!). Maybe one day I'll be able to spend more time--not this exact day but soon? Thanks for saying so, hypatia IP: Logged |

I agree, excellent observation and analysis. My research into nessus parallels your observations, though I haven't thoroughly investigated dejaniera ToddIP: Logged |

when analyzing new symbols, I find when the planet was conjunct the north node. then I research through multiple newspapers coverage for the given days. this gives an idea of the mundane effects but by reading the social pages one can sometimes see "natal" influences.it has been a number of years since i researched nessus, but one example of the cruet and deadly affect of nessus was shown by report(I may be incorrect )in I believe the 1930s when a European nation(I think it was (Sweden) was subjugating Tibet. what was so blood thirsty was that the capital of Lhasa was completely surrounded by narrow winding streets that the army could not travel over.... so the general in charge threatened to simply bombard the city , to create a pathway to attack the monastery of Lhasa.politcal consideration intervene and the bombardment never happened. but the cold blooded idea was reflective of Nessus. on another date, in new York, there was a case of murder by a woman's brother of her"lover". the article include insinuations that there was an"unnatural" relationship between the brother and sister. todd IP: Logged |
