If there is a not so great Synastry/Composite chart between two people with a love interest, then why is the connection so strong and the pull so strong between the 2 people?Wouldn't there just be nothing there to begin with? IP: Logged |

Synastry and Composite indicate longterm potentials. Strong attraction in the short term can fade away after the test of time (progressions and transits change). If your goal is longterm love interest, sometimes it may be better to resist the strong pulls. If FWB or temporary intimacy is your goal, by all means, go for it. Just don't expect lasting love. quote:

SecretGeek hit on the most likely scenario. People have off kilter ideas about what 'bad' synastry composite are. Many astrologists and most people here would probably consider my synastry with my wife to be 'bad', but we are best friends and having a growing relationship that gets better in some way every year.Some tips: Don't rely on a reductionist notion like oppositions and squares are all 'bad' or challenging. In synastry (as with transits, ala Robert Hand) benefics in any aspects between two charts set up a good basis for friendship and fair play. That means Venus-A square/opposite/contra-parallel Sun/Venus/Jupiter/Moon-B; same for Sun and Jupiter. Moon in any aspect with Jupiter is helpful and supportive. Always include the declinations for a full picture. I couldn't count how many flat wheel charts did not show the most important synastry points of love/affection/friendship/bonds until the parallels and contra-parallels of declination are tallied. ------------------
