Does anyone personally know about or experienced a long term romantic relationship without any major Saturn interaspects?Lets define "long term" as 3+ years. I don't know of any and have not experienced this. IP: Logged |

My best gf and her husband have almost no saturn aspects between them and they have been together, very happily (2kids), for 11 years now. The only saturn aspect to any personal planet is an opposition to her sun but the orb is 7 degrees. Their natal saturns are conjunct as they are the same age. They do have strong pluto in synastry and composite and I have read that pluto can have a similar binding effect. These two people have the sort of friendship and marriage most people hope for. They are truly best friends. IP: Logged |

Two free spirits who didn't care about "security" could do it. I am ruled by Saturn and I like when my loved ones reassure me with words and actions and time that they will be around... if they can be. It's very, well, "reassuring". It heals me and helps me to be at peace. "Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your name." ♫ IP: Logged |

Ursa, I would love to see their synastry! So, both of their Saturns must be unaspected natally, right? If so, they'd be singletons, which is quite rare... maybe that conjunction of Saturn singletons is what is helping bind them together? Would love anyone's thoughts on this. Melody, I need reassurance too. I love being told how much I am loved, hehe. IP: Logged |

saturn is important for comittment and sometimes saturn manifests itself through 10th house, so 10th house sinastry contacts are also very important..10th house isn`t just public life..IP: Logged |

Hello! With the greatest love in my life, I had no saturn aspect connections. We were together for three years, then he went abroad. he has family and children. We never lived together, but we still love each other very deeply - for 30 years now. We always remained in touch, and when he came to visit me lately, he said, I am the love of his life. So I think, saturn may be necessary for a committed love relationship, that lasts. But maybe also love is easier and more romantic without saturn? kamaIP: Logged |

What counts as major Saturn in synastry? There's a 6 year I have in my lil archive and they have with Saturn, -her saturn trine his mercury (3) -her jupiter trine his saturn (3) his saturn is his dsc ruler Is that *enough* or do you mean zzzz zero Zero ZERO Saturn? my good lord theyre weird, his sun has no aspects to her chart her sun just receives a trine from his neptune, which doesnt mean much cos her neptune does the same thing. they really hardly have any aspects together. Here's a funny pair (im so tired of em) She is eternally saying she can't stand him and every other week the "news" is that they're breaking up, she says he's controlling (I'm a witness, no he officially is not) but this is the set-up -her Mars/venus conj sq his Saturn (2 & 3) -her Saturn sq his Jupiter So you know what, I do believe she feels that way, but the question is will they ever leave each other, the answer is "No, But i sure as heck wish they would" so I wouldn't have to hear about how rotten he is cos he doesn't love her the way she wants to be loved. Oh yea, they're 4 years together. Longest coupling I know has 50+ yrs together, they have, -His saturn conj Her saturn (1) -Her Venus conj his Saturn (3) -the both their Saturns opposed his Uranus (2)

Check out the semisquare, sesquiquadrate. There could be some Saturn semisquare, sesquiquadrate aspects. They tend to be overlooked by most astrologers but not by cosmobiologists and uranian astrologers.Raymond ------------------ No..I am not a Virgo. I will use this topic to ask somthing about saturn in synastry: Do you think that saturn conjunct ascendant could totally diminish the chances for a relationship no matter huge attraction between a man and a womanIP: Logged |

I do know a couple (1) who have been together 20+ years (married for 13) with maybe 1 saturn aspect in synastry and 0 in composite. Who ever said 'free spirits' is on to something! (I personally would hate saturn aspects and when I like someone I hope I find less than 2 saturn aspects :-).) When I meet couples who have been together long time and have Saturn aspects, its a relationship that has mostly been stormy, they have to really work at it, that has endured a lot of issues! The couple with hardly any Saturn aspects, are very in love still (Venus-trine venus, Sun trine Sun & eros conjunct mars and ASC in synastry), & have no children. Of course I am sure they have had their issues and dissagreements. But the woman once told me she doesn't understand why so many married couples work so hard in their marriages, and that marriage should be fun! I think they are a very rare couple. IP: Logged |

I consider that composite Sun square Saturn a very strong bond.(I do belive it is still possible for a relationship to last without any Saturn contacts, though). ~ Lana IP: Logged |

I'm actually amazed after looking at my parent's synastry chart there are no real Saturn contacts. They have been happily married for 30+ years with 5 children and more in love than ever. IP: Logged |

You must also consider Saturn in the composite chart . I think a lack of Saturn aspects is better than having difficult aspects to Saturn.IP: Logged |

you also need to consider declinations. Maybe they have parallels and contra-parallels in synastry and/or composite.IP: Logged |

It is EXTREMELY rare for me to find a long term relationship without saturn. I've looked through the synastry of hundreds of couples and only remember two of them with virtually no saturn.. and one of them actually did have one weak saturn aspect anyway. One 30+ year marriage had only one barely aspected Saturn square Sun in it. That was it. However there was TONS of JUPITER aspects all over their synastry and Jupiter was the ruler of the man's venus- So that maybe is why? I have heard that the ruler of a man's 7th and the planet ruling Venus's sign matters, but not sure. They also had killer synastry with tight orbs for all these- Moon conjunct Sun and Moon conjunct Moon, Venus trine Venus and Mars sextile Venus. As for the second example with no saturn- It was a celebrity synastry of a couple that stayed together a really long time and not sure if I remember correctly, but I think it was Susan Surandan and Tim Robbins.
