Has any ever had experience with her in synastry?
I have a chart with a mans Pandora/Aura on a woman's Eros/Valentine and the woman's Pandora is on his Venus/Psyche
His Valentine is on her Aura
Her Psyche is exact opposed his Sun

It all sounds good except Pandora's story is about opening a box and letting all the negative come out into the world..I know there is an under lying theme of hope, but personally I've never seen Pandora actively involved in a relationship to know how she plays out when she surrounded by important asteroids in synastry.

Any thoughts or experience with her?

I know two men with prominent Pandora. 1st guy conjunct Asc. 2nd guy conjunct MC.

Things just happen to them all the time. Their curiosity gets them in trouble because no matter what they would do they would end up in predicaments unheard of to a person with "common sense."

I guess in synastry if Pandora touched another's planets the predicaments would involve that other person in some way.

I did not have a synastry connection with their Pandora placements so I cannot answer personally to this. I just know that with the MC Pandora person the predicaments are obvious to everyone. With the asc pandora person, the predicaments come out in conversation, they aren't as obvious but seem to be a more frequent occurance than on the MC.

Hmmm, I've never heard of someone with a prominent pandora explained. I've read a lot about her but trying to put her in action is different....I don't run across many who have her in synastry with me...That makes sense though.
I have Pandora conjunct my Kaali, Lilith and Uranus.
I used to always allow myself to get tied up in relationships that were not healthy.
To me they were seemingly normal, but they really weren't, they turn out to be something I must find a way to escape from.
The only way to stop the cycle has been to stay alone until I worked on myself and see the issues.
These situations always were what opened me up to see pain and weaknesses that id been hiding from, it was these situation and relationships that opened me up or exposed the issues to me.
I never thought about that being pandora that was forcing me to do dumb things and allowing me to fall into traps that opened me up to things hidden inside.
Staying alone and focusing energy on finding the answers alone has helped so much!

Thank you for your response....i hope your doing great!! I think about you and what your going through often!
I hope your finding time to smile everyday!! {{Hugs}}
If you decide to post your charts...I haven't forgot, I'll keep looking out for them!

Pandora means "gift". I love the story but hate how people think it's her fault. Pandora's story is similiar to Adam and Eve eating apples in the Garden of Eden despite being told not to.

Pandora means curiosity, she uncovers the ugly truth without realising consequences. But maybe it's much required or you wouldn't learn that hope was in that box.

I've read before the likeness between Eve and Pandora, both going against the Gods to know the truth and opening themselves up to much more than they expected, a loss of nativity and innocence but also an awakening to maturity and responsibility, growth of your soul is only done through the things they exposed!

I like that analogy....thank you!

Lol, I totally forgot about that post regarding Pandora....but I still haven't seen enough in action or in charts to know how serious it is in synastry charts!
I know I had to open my per verbal "can of worms"
But if it's in synastry and that will make it all happen again....I don't want it!!
It's tough having your band aid of innocence ripped off and exposing the truth that your naive and innocent only because your not seeing reality!!
I lived it, don't want to go back for a second round!
I just wonder what would be exposed in synastry n how much would it hurt??

Hi Gabby,

Pandora forms very close aspects in our synastry:
His Pandora trine my Valentine
My Pandora sextile his Venus

Pandora as a gift seems meaningful. I believe he is a gift in my life and the reverse may also be true.

Awe....I forgot about relating anything to that part of her story, Pandora is a gift!!
Maybe soft aspects show this side of Pandora's story? I really like that thought, and I'm so glad that is what your seeing in your relationship!
Thank you Astro keen!

Perhaps in synastry when someone conjuncts your pandora you become very curious about them and go against society expectations to explore this, risking getting in trouble or hurt but in the process you discover new things about yourself that the planet person brings out. They bring out a spark along with this hopeful feeling and it feels like fireworks, you feel re-energized.

My pandora quintiles my pluto and pluto septiles my southnode, it also squares asteroid spark and opposes my Ceres so all that influences how I experience Pandora when activated by synastry. The person surprises me making me feel things I never thought I could, it feels like a volcano waiting to erupt that I cannot stop. Pluto definitely influences a lot how pandora feels for me in synastry, the connection feels fated and like I cannot control how it will play out, its bigger than me (pluto septile southnode).

Keywords that paint a visual of how that astrological pattern involving pandora feels to me when activated: volcano waiting to erupt, fireworks, forces of nature, sunrise, deep quaint well of water, blowing a dandelion during a sunset, two birds flying together)

Wow - talk about bringing that double-edged gift front and centre! Is unearthing hidden desires/things front and centre in your relationship thus far?

I just plugged in and had my own 'huh' moment. Someone has Pandora and Union exactly on my North Node - (less than 15 minutes).

Within 2degrees, he also has Destinn and Astarte (672 - a love asteroid with a darker edge) exactly conjunct each other (0.00) - conjunct his moon (less than a degree).

My astarte is also in that conjunction.

One of the stand-out things about our friendship is that I feel drawn to open up to him, and to be myself for the first time in my life.

I put this down to my NN-his moon and his NN-my venus as i couldn't find any obvious pluto links, but maybe Pandora has a part to play in this?

It's a gift for sure - albeit scary at the same time as I have trust issues (saturn in the 8th). And time will tell if I make the right choices about what comes out and what stays hidden.
