This guy and I had a previous romance, we recently reconnected and are just friends but we've gotten pretty close lately. Also he's only six days older than me. What would you say are the best aspects? Some of the most challenging ones? Are there any indications such as marriage and/or kids?

there is a very stable friendship [pattern here.
mars is opposed to Saturn and sextile to pluto/moon and trine to Jupiter and Uranus.
this shows a stable friendship,very supportive and emotionally consistent.
the Jupiter/Uranus adds a intellectual stimulation to go with the Saturn/moon trine which shows dependability but can be a bit boring.
romantically, juno is at midheaven giving indications of marriage and family and ceres is square to juno and on the descendant so it seems that cares and responsibilities of a marriage have been considered before.
the moon Saturn trine shows very good compatibility and the midpoint is conjunct to Jupiter and Uranus which is also a good indication for a marriage. though Uranus conjunct to Jupiter implies issue of independence and emotional freedom would need to be addressed first.

the moon is square to the mercury/Venus conjunction nwhich gives a spontaneous attraction ad a joy in talking and jut being together.

pluto conjunct the moon could bring problems as this can show a inability to share deeper emotional feelings. with the square to venus, this could indicate expressing love might be a problem as pluto can add a unconscious uncertainty .

it is difficult to reach a define view point.
it is a good friendship and this could be the base of a romantic relartionship and marriage, but it is not clear that there is that extra spark of affection and love needed for a "passionate" relationship.
mars is conjunct the node so he certainty has a charm that you find alluring but with mars opposed to Saturn he seems to be more emotionally reserved.

I wil slay that if a marriage is in the offing then it would most likely occur in April of next year as the node will be conjunct to juno and square to ceres.this image is one of marriage and family and not just a romantic get together.
