I want to learn how to read charts more so synastry and composite charts. I understand things about aspects. But I don't know how to read midpoints or how to read the actual charts from astro.com IP: Logged |

"The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" by Joanna Wolfolk I believe or something like that. My first real Astrology book ever and I was 10 when I purchased it. It's mainly for beginners though. Arroyo would be a better fit if you're already knowledgeable a bit. I hear he's one of the best and even read a few excerpts online. IP: Logged |

"The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" YES YES YES YES! THIS ONE! Absolutely! It's GREAT for beginners - AND masters alike! It's like the basic foundational information about the signs and aspects. It touches on a bit of everything more or less. I HIGHLY recommend! IP: Logged |

Most discussions here seems to center around romance, and for that reason I will add to the list: Planets in Love: Exploring Your Emotional and Sexual Needs, by John Townley, from Para Research, 1974.In the same series from Para Research are several other excellent titles, including, Planets in Houses, Planets in Transit,Planets in Composite, Planets in Aspect, and more. The three books I've looked at from this series are easy to understand and make suitable reading for anyone with a basic understanding of the birthchart. For synastry, try, Synastry: Understanding Human Relations Through Astrology, by Ronald Davison, ASI publishers, 1977. This is somewhat more advanced but the novice will certainly find much that she/he can grasp. IP: Logged |

I think it depends very much on your style of learning... I like very much every book of Liz Greene.. her book on "relationships and how to survive them" is very good at analyzing composite charts.. IP: Logged |
