I've been getting involved with someone who has Mercury square Pluto as his closest natal aspect..0 degrees applying. How does this play out in the natal?

Also, in our synastry his Mercury squares my Pluto, 4 degrees applying. How would this play out between us considering he has the same aspect in his own chart? Surely it would be highly activated?

Look forward for some quiet probing, twisting if you can handle it, and he'll feel there's more to the story then what you saying. Show lotsa love

seems like people don't know much about this aspect...

you have it in your natal, does it make you very obsessive in thought? suspicious?

I have (retrograde) Mercury in Leo square Pluto. I admit I tend to doubt things people say especially when they talk A LOT or make big promises but I would not call myself suspicious. I tend to trust most people, and give them a chance to screw up before I make any sudden judgements.

However...

Not too long ago I used to stalk the facebook profiles of guys I really liked or were attracted to. No, I don't wait out in his yard or follow him around or anything stalker-ish, but I tend to notice little details about him so I can possibly surprise him later. I love a good conversation, where people point out things that no one really notices or talks about. I like to probe a bit, but I'm not forceful about it. I can say things that seem to go over people's heads at times. I can be blunt but it's never my intention to hurt or harm. I also am thoughtful, and need to sometimes let my thoughts marinate before I answer a certain question. People think I'm slow because of this but really I am just thinking...

I'm not very obsessive except if I feel I didn't explain myself well enough or come off as I wanted to. Then I just obsess over communication mistakes. I don't say things I don't mean, usually. I like to listen, and only talk when I know wtf I'm talking about lol.

I feel like I said way too much on how the natal affects me. Hope this helps. I think if it is repeated in the synastry/composite, I think his Mercury-Pluto will bleed over into the relationship, and your conversations will feel very private, go into details of each other's thoughts, beliefs, and lives maybe. Disagreements may feel cold at times but that might be more Mercury-Saturn.

Thank you very much for your description of how it affects you. The person I have in mind also have Mercury in Leo. a lot of what you said sounds like what I experienced with him a few days ago when we talked for hours on end about very interesting, deep topics. It was fascinating. He says he over-thinks and over-analyzes things and it's hard to shut his mind off. I can tell he is a bit obsessive about things, though.

I too have Mercury in Leo Square Pluto in Scorpio. And yeah I'll attest to being a stalker. Not of the variety where I follow you and literally stalk you. But in my past (especially when Myspace was huge and I was still an undergrad in college) my friends and I would use Facebook, Myspace, and our campus phone book (which we called stalker net lol) to find out things about people or guys we liked. To this day I would be lying if I said I didn't comb every ounce of a facebook profile of a guy I'm interested in or dating lol. It's terrible but I do it. But thankfully I have a Mercury Uranus Aspect so even when I get obsessive I snap out of it at some point lol.

I'm very tired right now and I'm sorry if I didn't put the writing in your face last time but yes, Mercury square Pluto people are very obsessive AND suspicious depending on their maturity and background. Look at that aspect or (person) like a pitbull, watches carefully, very protective but can be the most loyal. So be expected to go through test to see if you trustful, but it takes time. Some people swear if its in a synsatry with someone the aspect calms it down. But no. It shines that persons aspect of their personality to a higher degree because now it brings it to the relationship

"Like I said probing unconsciously"
And yes that aspect makes a person more prone to anxiety over analyzing problems because they always re-think it over before certain.

I have natal mercury in cancer in 10th house square pluto libra in first house.

iQ mentioned in my chart reading that this has to do with investigative abilities. I gotta be honest, I am not an easy person to lie to. If i like a guy, I will kinda do a lot of observations before getting involved... cos i dun trust ppl easily.

I have Pluto sq Sun, Moon and Mercury. I will investigate, probe, dissect and analyze you to molecules. You cannot lie to me. Ever.

I have "issues" to express myself verbally, there are so many words going on in my mind. It's better if I can do it on a piece of paper. I am suspicious by nature and it takes years to get to know me. This may or may not have something to do with Merc being trine Uranus.

I can be very cold, detached and aloof.

I am useless in relationships.

I live in my on mind where things are "safe".

I tend to hang around mostly Air and Fire signs. Former because I am allowed to be aloof and detached and latter because they are (usually) blunt and straightforward which minimizes scenarios where I'd have to 2nd guess their motives.

Sun,Saturn,Ceres,Venus,Mercury - Cancer 11H

Moon - Capricorn 5H

Pluto - Libra 2H

Uranus - Scorpio 3H

I have Mercury in Leo 4th sq Mars in Taurus 12th and Pluto in Scorpio 6th. Lets just say people have to be careful about what they say around me, lots of fixed energy circling around there LOL.
I can be a bit probing and investigative. It isn't so much what a person says its how they say it and the behavior exhibited before and after they said something. I usually don't have to do much to get someone to tell me their deep dark secrets. I know what to say to push a person's buttons, triggering verbal reactions.

I have a cruch on a guy who has a mercury leo square pluto scorpio.

Would this aspect make a person obsesse when in love or having a crush on someone? Would that person analyze their crush, everything one said and done etc?

I have a sun-pluto opposition and I'm super analytical, fixetad and obsessive especially when having a crush. I will play a psychologist nd try to analyze the person and it will drive me crazy sometimes!

I'm not sure if this is the case with squares too?

I have mercury square pluto natally, wide, but I agree 100% with what @Lazyscarecrow has said.

When in love or having a crush, in the past, especially at the very young age (like in the highschool), I may think a lot about my crush but not necessarily into an obsession or to the point building suspicious behavior. I tend to analyze and questioning people' motives especially if I sense something too much (otherwise I just sit there being a natural observer). It's not easy to lie to me, I'll catch the lie with real proofs and would love to spread it on the table so you can sweat and talk more or simply leave me cus I don't deal with bullish*t, but trust me, I tend to let you know what I've got and won't hesitate to confront you about it like a true detective.

I can't do a small talk, so expect me to be quiet a lot or talking about deeper conversation.

In the past I have a struggle on how to say something because I can easily trigger people with my words, misunderstanding was often occurred.

My favorite game is puzzle, I can finish 500 pieces of puzzle in 2-3 hours, my brain has been made like dealing with a puzzle.

Oh wow! 500 piecs puzzle in a few hours!

Yes pluto aspects tend to turn one into a human lie detector. And I agree, I too are very sensitive to what people say and try to cach their lies even if I don't mean to, its just how our brains work.

But is it all this pluto aspects has to offer? Everyone in the topics seems to maybe not obsesse, but to catch lies?

The reason I asked about the"obsession" thing is because over the last months I have been analyzing every small stuff and moments we had with my crush, and I started to wonder, if maybe himself too is like me about analyzing our moments.

It would be nice to not being the only obsessive person in this relationship, lol

Watch the words u use; ur body language and be very mindful of your tone of voice when interacting with them.

Don't EVER shout/scream or raise your voice at them. Even sarcasm or backhanded comments made in jest are a "no no"

They take insults very personally and will brood over words that you may have said in passing and not intending to hurt them i.e "Don't be stupid", "You can be such an indiot", " How gullible are you?" or "what you did was dumb" etc.

Words linger in their head longer and cut deeper than most people realize. So even a comment made on Facebook may have them react in an extreme fashion.

They dislike profane language used against others i.e women, disabled people, people of a differing race, gays etc. And can react with a sharp tongue to those who say them.

Words can heal them too but they have to be sincere because they can sense that i.e "I love you", " You matter to me" etc. But they will hold u to those words so don't waste em.

They may not say much or even be quiet most times. But they listen...a lot. They realize that most people open their mouth to just blow air. So they usually steer clear from those who are verbose but with no substance.

Reading or hearing something profound can transform them very deeply. So often times when they speak, there is a lot of emotions behind the words said. So if u dismiss them whilst at it, it feels like you are trampling on their heart.

Don't worry, some Plutonian can be obsessive esp when young or still immature/unevolved. If they have some or strong with scorpio, taurus, cancer, (maybe libra), they may obsess over you too.

Not all plutonian can catch lies without being suspicious, the unevolved tend to creat the worst scenario first and over dramatic about it like (for example) they quick to judge you are a liar or lower their trust just because two days ago you told them you got annoyed by B person but the next day you were just fine with B person. Dude, people may have their moment get upset but not necessarily forever unforgiving. Or simply you take too long to reply their text, oh boy, they can think the worst. lol.

The evolved one is an observer, can understand human psychology as they aren't over dramatic with small things, they may look intimidating/powerful to some and usually suddenly catch your lies through their natural analyzing eyes, ears, and tricky questions. Most of the time won't call you out if it's not a big deal. They have an ability to read between the lines.

But, you know, pluto is as hard as saturn, need a lot of lessons to learn. It's definitely not an easy aspect to handle.

If pluto aspects occur in the synastry, it can be an obsessive, volatile, and may be your worst relationship lol, but if both are mature, the relationship is strong and rewarding, like saturn aspects in the synastry.
