I have recently seen how powerful is the Vertex point. It shows up on all natal charts. If a person’s planet hits your Vertex, the person will BRING you what that planet represents. ( It would be true for an asteroid, too.) For example, if someones Neptune hit your Vertex, that person would bring you spirituality. If someone’s Venus hit your Vertex, that person would bring you love. If someone’s Chiron hit your Vertex, that person would bring you pain. If someone’s Nessus hit your Vertex, that person may bring you abuse.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

My vertex is smack on my bf's Venus. I don't know if I *feel* it. He has brought me love though and also I feel already we belong together. IP: Logged |

I have it conjunct my Moon, Venus, and South Node. The guy who had his Mars widely conjunct it, destroyed my life, all through other people - his repeatedly hitting on me, when I wasn't interested, and when he was (still is) involved with a family member... IP: Logged |

That's terrible!!! He sounds like a total creep, and I feel bad for the person who is dating him. It does sound as though he brought his "Martian" nature to your Vertex. Mars of course is sex drive, and desire, but it can also be fighting style. I can see it being likened to abuse, but that depends.I actually have my Vertex-Saturn very tightly (1 degree) Conjunct a person's Mars-Uranus Conjunction and it DEF drew him to me. When we first met he really was not shy about the innuendo or getting attention (he's a Leo Venus) to his physical body, "area" (he liked to talk about his boxers lol), and or talking about celebs who were "banging." I should say my Vertex is in Scorpio lol. To me the Vertex almost acts as an antenna, in which I'm very very aware of the planet the person brings me. I'm also aware of how they are affected by me (via the sign touching my Vertex). For instance if your Mercury touches my Vertex, I'm aware of you mentally, but also what you think of me (or how you think about me) mentally. Overall the Mars Vertex resulted in really really feeling any type of martian thing, may it be annoyance or sexual attraction/excitement almost to the point of it being super uncomfortable (for me). There is a LOT of energy generated, so being very aware someone is lusting after you (esp a Scorpio Mars with Cancer Moon) is very flattering, but draining. Try talking to any man in the room and suddenly you're ignored and not even greeted. I haven't seen him in weeks, but yeah it's a lot to take in. I actually wish I understood this aspect more from the perspective of the Martian person. I will also say I'm not sure if this aspect alone created the intense energy. We have dw Mars-Moon, his Mars is Opp my Venus, and my Mars is Square his Sun. We also literally have everything Square or Opp in orb (Sun Squ Sun, Moon Opp Moon, Mer Squ Mer, Venus Squ Venus, NN Squ NN, and the one good spot is Mars Trine Mars). I should also add my Vertex is quite strong romantically. It's Ruler (Pluto) is intercepted and is the Co-Ruler of my 5th house (Venus is the main ruler). My Vertex is also Conjunct Saturn, which rules both my 7th and 8th houses. My Anti-Vertex is Conjunct my Venus. IP: Logged |

Mars touching sensitive points can be bad. If one has a gentle planet like the Moon, it does not feel good when a Mars conjuncts it.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

What if two people's vertexes oppose each other in the chart?

Hey, Ami! Can you elaborate on this? How is this bad? Does it point to abuse or a strong sexual attraction (from the Mars) that can point to abuse if it's Martian energies aren't fulfilled? IP: Logged |

Great question GMars seems to be a wild card. He can be great attraction or irritation and annoyance. It seems to be WHICH places he touches and if they are sensitive, gentle places like the Moon or strong, primal places like Pluto. I will write an article cuz by the time I try to answer, it will be an article, G lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Recently experienced some strong Vertex connections. My Vertex is smack on my DC, tightly conjunct Ceres (and asteroids: Apollo, Atlantis, Casanova, Hera, Venusia and many others).Their VENUS conjunct my VERTEX/DC Their VESTA loosely conjunct (6 degrees) my VERTEX/DC. My AMOR conjunct their VERTEX/SUN/MERCURY/PALLAS stellium (directly on the Vertex). I definitely felt Venusian qualities from this person, that they really liked me and my presence. I felt a lot of respect and loyalty and an element of them seeing me as something sacred/not to be 'messed' with. (Vesta vibes). I also felt my AMOR asteroid activated like whoa. I did and still have a huge amount of unconditional affection for them. It feels somewhat similar to a mother or sibling love, something not necessarily romantic, but a definitely a soul-type love. I care about them loads. We also have mutual Venus/Ceres conjunction, which helps! IP: Logged |

Do we look at asteroids too?My Vertex conjunct his Psyche, square his Jupiter/Eros/Karma. His Vertex & Union are conjunct in natal and they conjunct my MC, square my Nodes (but a wide orb 5°). Also, our Vertex conjunct each other's Sun/Moon midpoints. ˆSomeone said this aspect doesn't mean anything but I saw an article that says this indicates a karmic, life-changing relationship? Not sure which is which but in reality, our relationship has been life-changing for both of us in major ways. It shook my faith/values for the first time and his conviction towards certain things. If our relationship continues, there will be more major changes coming our way that will impact us both emotionally & spiritually.

The man I am with has his Sun exact conjunct my Vertex and I feel it is fated. I think he may feel this way too, but we have a lot of fate indicators, so its hard to say what is what.IP: Logged |

In synastry with someone my Vertex is in the persons 7th house. And their Vertex makes an exact square to my Asc-Dsc axis. I had a synastry reading done by an astrologer. And she said that my Vertex in their 7th house indicates a meeting in this lifetime for the purpose of having a relationship.(I mentioned this in another thread) IP: Logged |

Vertex pops-up for me in a lot of my personal relationships, so in my life it seems very significant.* My vertex conjuncts my partner’s Sun. * My ex previous to him, same thing. My vertex conjunct his Sun. * I met someone last year that I felt immediate lust & affinity for. His Vertex conjuncts my Moon/IC. * My older brother’s Vertex conjuncts my Sun. * My Vertex conjuncts my Dad’s Pluto. * My younger brother’s Vertex conjuncts my Venus. Weird. These are all almost exact conjunctions too. Only a couple are off by 1 degree. Also interesting, I just realized these are all men. IP: Logged |

FireVirgo, that's interesting! Do you have anything conjunct your own Vertex? This is the first time I have ever had something more than an asteroid on my Vertex. I have nothing conjunct it in my natal.

It shares the 8th house with my Leo Venus, but they are not conjunct. I think there may be one asteroid that’s in close proximity to my Vertex, but off the top of my head I can’t recall which one! Now it’s going to bug me haha IP: Logged |

My husband Vertex conjunct my Venus, 3 degrees.. So, it's mean I show him love??He confessed in the beginning of our relationship that he felt like he had already in a relationship for a long time with me, that he felt strangely great comfort of closeness, compared to his long time relationship which he felt like he didn't belong to. He also told me that he felt like I and he were fated to be together. I was cringed as I just knew him for three months and we just talked here and there if there was a chance. I didn't have the same feeling at the time. There's a possibility that his Vertex also conjunct my IC. (I don't know the exact of my birth time, only the around about) I wonder, how is the planet person actually feel? Being the planet person, I don't know how to feel this contact in relationship, as in my relationship my trust to him is already broken before I develop deep feelings. Although our relationship is nearly 6 years, I still have a hard time to develop deep feelings for him, as he keeps breaking my trust. What impact I make to him through this Vertex/Venus conjunction?
