Their mercury sextile my ASC at 0.08 degrees separating.

We have

Sun-mercury DW trine

Sun-Venus DW

AND Mercury trine Uranus/ Neptune in composite at 2 degrees conjunct CSun so my response might be biased.

I would say this helps overall communication but it's not THAT affective on its own unless other aspects are attached to it. The conjunction or opposition would create a much bigger impact in my opinion.

It just adds a softer tone to the communication between both individuals, but doesn't equate to good communication on its own.
