I think it would depend on the planets involved. Is there something specific you're thinking about?

In general terms, angles and angle rulers can have quite an impact.

Eg, the ruler of my IC is mercury. My mercury is conjunct someone's IC. The ruler of his IC is Mars, and his Mars is conjunct my Saturn.

My merc/ his IC aspect shows in ways like we talk a lot and feel very comfortable when in private. I've not considered the Saturn-IC ruler before, but it could be seen in that I'm older than him and bring maturity and possibly restriction in some way.

I'm not sure, I'm just spitballing here

What's made you ask LuckyLeo?

Hi Stellia, thanks for replying to me. It's funny that you mentioned you have Saturn conjunct IC ruler in your synastry - that is the aspect I am curious about!

I experienced this conjunction in an important relationship. It's the closest aspect in our synastry so I think it's probably very important but I can't find much on this topic. It's his Saturn to my IC ruler (Venus) in synastry. I believe his Saturn is his MC ruler but can't be sure because I don't have a confirmed birthtime.

I understand the angle rulers are so important, but yet don't fully understand what it means to have a conjunction to one. Sometimes I think a conjunction to the IC ruler is similar to a conjunction to the moon, but that seems to oversimplify things. What do you think?

Lucky Leo, I have this with my former fiance. My Scorpio IC is co-ruled by Leo Mars rising. Her Moon is conjunct(2 degree orb). Our experience was that no matter where we met, it seemed like Home. Inner feelings of love and devotion were glorious: one of the greatest sexualoves of my life!
