These are my parents' charts. I just wanted to post them in case they could be useful for anyone to look at. Unfortunately my dad's time of day is just an estimate. My mom's is just a noon chart.

I thought it was interesting the composite had all those fixed placements.

They met when they were 14 and 15. Got married at 20. Have been together ever since. My mom is 50 and my dad is 51. I asked my mom how she knew before she was going to be with my dad forever and she just said "I knew he was my destiny"

My mom is on the inside. Remember to disregard the houses.

awww...Double Whammy moon square venus AND Double whammy sun trine moon, how sweet is that. moon trine pluto, sextile neptune, sun square pluto. sun trine jupiter and saturn. love stellium...but square moon(very favorable imo) and jupiter (also favorable) square uranus...ouch..moon square saturn and uranus ouch. you told me they had problems with it being on and off in the beginning of the relationship

composite moon quintile pluto, moon conjunct neptune are important aspects, but composite sun-pluto and venus-pluto would be more intense. Those work anyway, though. and excellent synastry, by the way.

Yeah they broke up once in high school but that was it. I wouldn't say it's on/off after over 30 years of on!

oh wait... they DONT have composite moon square saturn...nevermind lol. ok that makes more sense. i just dont understand the love stellium afflicted by uranus and how that plays out in their relationship.....its supposed to mean an unusual relationship or instability.

Idk it's nothing if not stable. But I mean my dads a Taurus. And my moms really grounded for a Gemini. They don't even fight with eachother. My dad will throw tantrums and my mom is too rational to ever care or play into it. I couldn't imagine him with someone who would entertain his arguments. It would never work.

My parents are opposites though. My mom is the breadwinner. My dad is more handy and takes care of everyday things. He works too but my mom is professionally a lot more successful. When we were growing up, our dad was always the one who cooked dinner and gave us rides because of this. He says he won the wife lottery. My mom has grown to be more open and spiritual. My mom goes to church every Sunday. My dad played sports every Sunday morning for various over 30 leagues up until like 5 years ago. Now he just golfs and plays frisbee golf. My mom is more refined. My dad more rugged

That is very interesting how you describe your parents.
Mine are also quite different, but have been married for 38 years.

Maybe we could compare if the couples have some thing in common, that would make a long term commitment, love and happiness likely?

My Dad is the Aquarius with Taurus Moon and Virgo ASC.
My Mum is the Scorpio with Virgo Moon and Cancer ASC.

I see one thing in common: Love Stelliums. The Suns, Mercuries and Venuses are together in the composite charts. Pluto has aspects to the Love Stellium or just Conjunct. Saturn figures in.

Thanks to all you ladies, I am learning!!

PBB, I see the Virgo Pluto that is common in late baby boomers. PBB, I think your mom must be a '61 and your dad must be a '60.

My wife said that she dreamt of me as young as 5 years old. She didn't meet me until she was 25 years old. She knew exactly how her husband would look like, and she spotted me very improbably across an extremely cramped and crowded room of people, and elbow shoved people to get to me.

I am going to look more when I get to a computer but I did notice the love stellium thing as YTA said. As well as both having water moons in composite. In synastry they both have DW Venus and Saturn aspects

I notice compatible Moons are a big thing. Water, Fire, etc. My wife and I have the same sign moon.

But definitely love stellium is a big thing, or so it seems.

I keep seeing a high number of Mars to Mars in hard aspects in marriages... people say run but I keep seeing it... Mars likes hard energy (it works best with it).

Also, a long time ago relationship is different than nowadays. Need to consider it too. And how conservative the couple is, their beliefs, etc.

My parent's composite chart isn't that smooth looking, but they are still like a young love, still showing romanticism (sometimes they sing together loudly in the car or in the house serenade each other - even we are jokingly embarrassed by them, holding hands whenever they go on vacation or spend some quality time, and also they like to have a nap together while holding each other hands). My Dad also will never want to go alone if there's an invitation of events or party, if my Mom is unable to accompany him, he will choose to stay at home with her. My Dad also has no problem doing wifey things to help my Mom.

The side affect of seeing their relationship is, especially me, that in the past I really thought every men were like my Dad and I really thought that a relationship was like their relationship. I have been through a great disappointment for some years and need to except the reality living in this generation.

My Dad is a Leo Pluto generation and my Mom is a Virgo Pluto generation. After my Dad's retirement, they run business together.

Their synastry is pretty much good (sun/moon conjunction, mars/venus conjunction DW where also possibly moon/mars conjunction, mercury/moon conjunction) but the composite is not that smooth looking, square and opposition dominate the chart.

This is why sometimes I put more attention to the synastry analysis (as we can see the energy of each if they really can work the relationship together, what each really wants or needs and if each can really deliver the other wants or needs) than the composite as it tells the relationship dynamic which later I have found it is so so much of complexity and not everything is true as there are a lot of connected wires and you need to go back to see the individual natal chart if they are really meant to be.

My parent's comp. chart, 32 years together so far, they fight like the dickens (my mom battles her own demons) and have very different interests, but manage to still enjoy each other's company at the end of the day. My mom said she "just knew" when she met him and they were engaged after only after a month-ish of dating. Birth times are pretty accurate:

My fiance's parents' comp. chart, married 43 years so far, they have a pretty cool relationship, are great friends but still affectionate. They give each other lots of space though. Birth times are not accurate:

What jumps out at me - hard Uranus aspects, water moons, pattern completion...

Parent couple #1, so for peachbeigeblue's parents, there are no linkages from natal to composite. Apart from father's (red) NN to Pluto.
Love Stellium: only minimum (Sun, Mercury, Venus)

Parent couple #2, Ceridwen's parents, linkages are:
Red Moon on composite Mars and Saturn
Blue Chiron on composite Mercury (maybe)
Love Stellium: Not really

Parent couple #3, margym0o's parents and fiance's parents, there are no natals to compare.
Love Stellium: yes for both. Even if widely stelliumed.

Strong Mars energy will surely be an attracter for procreation.

It would be good to see more, and/but also too divorced couples to compare.
