Hello everyone, I have a question for you but I hope it will be clear because it's a bit confusing. So, I checked my synastry with my friends (so 16 people) and I noticed a pattern : I almost always have either my Sun or my Mercury/Venus in either their 8th house or their 12th house (but it's more often the 12th house, if I remember correctly, it is the 12th house with 9 of them) This happens with 14 of my friends and the two others with which it doesn't happen, it's them who have a planet in my 8th or 12th house. So I'm wondering what does it mean ? Is there something I have to teach them ? Is there something I have to learn ? Does it mean I attract deep relationships and that I can handle them ? I would really like some opinions because this has been bugging me for a few months now ... Thank you in advance ! IP: Logged |

First of all means that they have same ASC hence the same overlay placements, so maybe there's something with that energy you need to work on, I had that with Gemini placements this year, either ASC, Sun or Moon. Any time anyone's Moon or Sun falls on my 12th house I feel like they're not being totally open to me, specially Moon. My 8th house is in Gemini, weird enough, most of this guys I've been pretty open when it comes to sex, either talking about it, or having intimacy, which I was never honest with anyone, hard topic (Chiron in 8th house) IP: Logged |

Yes, that's true, most of my friends have a Capricorn rising (I'm a Cap, I guess the Capricorn energy attracts me a lot) ...Also, I just checked again and actually, there's only one person whose Moon falls in my 12th house, the others have Mercury in my 12th house more (though it's still more my Mercury that falls in their 12th house ..) so I'm not sure what it means but yeah ... I don't really feel that my friend whose Moon falls in my 12th house hides things from me though .. IP: Logged |

Not hiding, more like they hold things, or not say everything emotional speaking, but that's my perspective, the placement overlays kinda talks about how you perceive them. IP: Logged |

I have this in the synastry.His Moon is in my 12th house & my Sun/Mercury are in his 8th house (if his rising is correct, but I think it is). But, how does it feel for you despite questioning the questions? IP: Logged |

Honestly, I don't feel it, like, everything I have read seems to be really deep and all but I don't know, it doesn't seem that deep for my friends ... Or they don't tell me how they feel about me, I don't know ..I guess the closest thing that comes to mind when it comes to 12th house Synastry (with my friends) is that I'm the spiritual one in our group of friends and they turn to me when they have questions about astrology etc ... But other than that, I don't feel the 12th house Synastry that much but maybe it's because I don't know what to look for, I don't know .. IP: Logged |

Regarding 8th house Synastry (forgot to answer that part), I have my mercury/venus in a friend's 8th house and I guess I can say that we do talk about taboo things, we talk about MANY things (that I don't talk about with other people), we have deep conversations and I guess she makes the darker parts of me come out (In the sense that I become aware of things that I don't like about me)So, yeah, I don't know if that's why but yeah IP: Logged |

I don't know how it manifests in a friendship, but in a relationship I can say:- as the 12th house (& he's the Moon)
At first it was all a comfort feeling, like, there was a special connection. He did feel the same thing. I felt like I could trust him and he would protect me. But for a selfish reason, the Moon betrayed me by telling my personal story behind my back, backstabbing, and acted like I was the villain. Of course I was blinded for sometimes until I got dreams and started finding the truth. The lesson is, the 12th house person must be not too quick trusting the planet person because the hurt is deeper, like, the hurt can change your life view spiritually/unconsciously. We try to fix things here and there, and, yes, within time, I feel that the Moon person hide or hold something from me. I don't know what/why. But I have found out, he never tells me everything from the whole story: how is his day, or how is his family, or how is his friends/friendship, or etc.
- as the planet person, the Sun/Mercury (& he is the 8th house)
I really don't feel this as something importantly good. But he really triggers the worst in me and I hate that energy. It feels bad for me. Sometimes I feel like I want to break the chain and run away, idk why. We have a series of intense situation but he keeps staying, I have asked him why, but he doesn't answer me clearly, he only throws the question back to me, if I say I actually don't want it anymore, he will get defensive, we'll always end up in the bed any way. It's hard to explain how is the function of the relationship. We kind of hate each other but it's hard to really leave emotionally. The mercury doesn't feel awkward talking about, especially taboo things. But it is me who like to talk everything, not him, but he gets intrigue by the conversation, he likes to listen to the topics. Yeah, I've read many descriptions of what it feels like for everyone to be the housse person or the planet person and I've realized that I can only really know how it feels like when I'm in the situation so I try not to ask for descriptions ... What I'm asking here is, what do you think is my lesson here, attracting all those friends whose 8th/12th house I touch ? Or what do I have to teach them ? I mean, I don't believe in coincidences so the fact that I have those energies with all of them must mean something... I'm just not sure what IP: Logged |

12th house: the 12th house can be a healer or help the planet person to find their hidden pain, but also if the 12th house is a bad person, can be deceptive. The planet person will be where the 12th house person find they can tell all secrets/personal matters, if the planet person is a bad person or immature, he/she will use any information of you to hurt/put you down. It is a secret enemy house also.8th house: both will teach each other about vulnerability (a feeling we are afraid to talk about) as this connection triggers strong feeling, a white and black situation, can also be an instant enemy, if jealousy, power games and controlling behaviors occurred. In case of attraction it depends on what connection your sun/moon/asc to the other as this triggers comfort feelings between friends as well as relationship. I don't always do synastry with friends, but I have noticed they will always have one or two the same signs as me. Also, Do you have strong Neptune/Pluto aspect to personal planet? Thank you for this ! It already seems clearer ! I didn't know that the house person could heal the planet person ... And basically, if I understand correctly, the 12th house connection is only bad if the planet person is bad, right ? As for the 8th house, I have to think about it more, I've been so focused on the 12th house that I haven't thought about it more ... Also, the friend I mentioned above (with m'y mercury/venus in her 8th house), she touches my 4th house so I guess it makes it easier for me to feel comfortable with her, which maybe makes the 8th house connection easier, I don't know ... And about Neptune/Pluto aspects, I only have my Sun conjunct my Neptune in natal but it's a 7° orb so considered not that strong and I don't think my friends have strong connections with those planets either ... Our generation is more influenced by Uranus actually I'm sorry, I realize I'm writing a lot of information ^^ IP: Logged | |
