I added a new post to my blog today. It talks about conjunction aspects in synastry. I didn't talk about EVERY single one, but instead highlighted the select ones I think are the most magnetic and strongest influences in compatibility. Let me know what you think! Thanks again for following, guys. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Not bad! I like it. Nice broad strokes. I'd hesitate on being quite so generalising, to be perfectly honest. You've nailed Moon-Moon, but I'm a Scorpio Moon, and he's a (very early) Sag Moon, which is conjunct his natal Saturn in Scorpio. Our defence mechanisms prevented us from really become intimately aware of each other, but that seems par for the course. I can't speak to others, but I know two lunar Cancerians immediately start gabbing about their families and showing photos and build a fast bond, (unless other indicators would prevent it) based upon mutual empathy. Conversely, two lunar Aquarians instantly link up, even if they never become aware of their emotional bond. I'm more curious, I think, upon reading through the first two parts, of how out-of-sign conjunctions operate, given you'd touched on one such instance. I don't see much written about how out-of-sign / in-orb conjunctions operate - in general - or in comparison to same-sign. Great work, in any regard. Glad I've been able to stumble upon your blog. It's bookmarked now. ------------------ Stargazing in Hollyweird, -AMP -- Everything you know is wrong. LACHESIS: a new transgressive drama from Envision Dramatic Artists. 2012. IP: Logged |

Oh, man. That's a big one for me, too. I've gravitated to an inordinate number of lunar Saggies. Took me awhile to realise (on top of other factors) that it's largely due to either being on my Neptune, or tightly aspecting a Neptune-influenced MP. ------------------ Stargazing in Hollyweird, -AMP -- Everything you know is wrong. Thanks, guys! It's always good to know that my posts resonate and are actually accurate. I was actually thinking about the out-of-sign conjunctions as I was writing that but I decided to just simplify it and focus on the conjunction in one sign. In my opinion, the out-of-sign conjunction has the same very general function but is more elusive and hard to spot in the relationship, just because both people aren't expressing the same energy (sign). Like, if we're talking a person born at 28 degrees Sun in Leo and the other born at 3 degrees Sun in Virgo, their Suns will be conjunct and tthus they'll feel amped up in each other's presence. But, the first person is still a Leo. I believe in cusps, to a certain extent, but a Leo-Virgo cusp person will still have less in common with a Virgo than another Leo temperamentally. Because the sign is still the sign until the Sun completely changes. So, if the same Leo had a Sun conjunction with another Leo, the difference in their relating to another would be rather obvious. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

I think you should've said "Synastry Interpretations" in the title. Everyone would be clicking on it lol They probably don't realise what it is. IP: Logged |

I've got Venus/Mars in Aries with my current BF. Its exact and conjunct my IC. Its very significant, were learning things being together. I'm more open - minded then I used to be and he is more grounded and less of a partyer than he used to be. At first the conjunction manifested on a purely sexual level and yes we are very sexually compatible, but Venus/Mars is not just sexual, it is a collaboration of the male animus and anima coming together and each is projecting the opposite one onto the other person making them the ideal partner. Also I'm the Mars in synastry and he was still the pursuer, so can't say that our roles are reversed per se. IP: Logged |

It makes sense, especially if the Venus person has their Venus in something more action oriented like Aries. I may have Aries Mars, but I'm not exactly in tune with that aggressive blunt energy. IP: Logged |

Me and mine have the Venus/Mars conjunction. Me being Venus, he did chase me eventually but I pretty much had to tell him to (Venus demands eh?) and still do.Very good writing (although you make me feel I've missed out never having had a Moon/Mars conjunction!) and I also enjoyed reading about the True Blood characters!
