I was just about to suggest the same thing

I have a connection where I have his name opp my vertex and he has my name opp his vertex.

I would also like to suggest possibly adding the vertex to the Fated objects.

Just a suggestion

I also agree with amowls about the other angles. IC - family, home, roots, past
soul mates have a past they are family(soul family).

I personaly have a connection with names to the IC of each other.

Example:

Your Destinn trines his ERos.

1. If Ascendent conjunction does not work, then apply the trine. Both are not necessary.
And yes, this is only for Natals.

2. Yes Peri, DSC can be used. i.e Asc opposition is valid. Accordingly apply in the filter.

3. Squares are very malefic. Sorry to say, it is not useful as a positive in initial synastry evaluation. It becomes useful to analyze later on.

4. Name asteroids and other stuff are to be used AFTER the calculator does its job.
As an astrologer, for me Isis aspect Valentine will tell 10 times more than Mars conj Venus but I cannot confuse others about that. People have to be ready first. That is what this calculator will do.

I feel 30+ in this will be a great starting point to go ahead.

that`s a very benevolent attitude, and I appreciate your theories and thought so much; it gives me much stuff to think and often gives me a mental push into a direction I hadn`t seen before. I very much appreciate that.

BTW after a rough overview in the synastry with Jude I have 37 points; probably due to that Sun-Venus-conjunction as well as Adonis-Innanen-quinkunx (plus Adonis-Innanen-squre, but as you said, that`s not positive).
