I'm just trying to understand his natal. The Pluto conjunct ASC makes sense - he seems so scorpio - yet doesn't have that ASC. He's a clever writer and knows vast knowledge of music and that is great but there is a really dark side to him that sometimes is out of place.

Last night he told me: "I love you so much, and so glad to have you in my life - you've saved me." Disclaimer, he has dealt with depression since he was a teen and this hasn't surfaced until about 2 months ago - that I was aware of.

I love him but feel responsible for his well being with statements like that I'm like "what have I gotten myself into."

He is very hard on himself and wants a fruitful career and feels like a failure and I feel like my role his to help with his success - my Sun/Mercury is near his MC in early Leo.

He admitted his vulnerability,that is a good sign.

My Very close platonic Aquarius Female friend knows my kryptonite, we both tell each other things that no one else knows. Not something I'd hand over easily.

Believe it or not Gemini and Scorpio aren't too different. Both are very logical.

Its only when you see placements that make a Gemini more serious that they'll appear like Scorpios.

Mars opposite Uranus, Neptune opposite Venus, Venus trine Pluto. So his Pluto ASC and pluto trine Venus add intensity. The Saturn inconjunct Moon would be challenging for him. Taurus Moon when it settles on something is loyal and steady. He must feel safe with you, but that Neptune opposite Venus would lean him to idealizing the other, which can contribute to you feeling leaned on.

Also, his Moon in the 7th? Relationships are important to him. Chiron is in 7th too. So wounding exists and healing is needed here for him. Sun in the 8th adds depth and intensity.

Not seeing your chart, I don't know how you two affect each other. I think he has some depth and intensity and instability in his life that create more than his surface Gem Sun and Venus you are seeing. I think he has not had an easy time, and he connects you with safety or stability. Those are things his Taurus Moon wants, but also things that might settle his natal challenges he experiences on a daily level.

I know its a little hard for vertiver, but sometimes Gem males need a stronger sign to give a little guidance to sort things out.

The rest they can figure out themselves.
vertiver can really play a big role in transforming his life.

Thats why I said she's lucky, potentially shes gain a new soulmate.

Yeah that is definitely true Mereiposa, plus we both have Gemini in Venus conjunct - so my Saturn/Uranus are also opposite his Venus and his Neptune hits my Venus as well. Dunno if that is a good or bad thing.

The biggest struggle I have with him is talking about anything career related - especially my goals - like being successful myself - brings him down. Which is annoying to me - to be that touchy and to let your own insecurities surface when the conversation was not about him. His overall goals are very Taurean - he said he feels like a failure because he "can't take care of me." But I'm not the type of person looking for a meal ticket.

That sounds more Cancer then anything else. My friend is with a Cancer and he always takes everything as putting him down.

With Gemini..I think you should work on it together. Help guide him!!!.

Thanks Dualgem - sounds like the Cancer Mercury is more obvious than his chart than one would think. And I'm definitely very supportive and enthusiastic about his career endeavors/aspirations.

I'm only a few courses left till I finish my Computer Science Degree. My Aquarius friend believes in me although she's an artist and hates engineers or people like them, lol.

I have to take the "Dreaded" Discrete Mathematics II course hardly anyone gets an A in it otherwise you'd be working at Google, its essentially computational geometry.

I have an assignment due for that class tomorrow at midnight, I'm about half way and have pretty much decided to write it off as a loss.

I can drop it and re-enroll again, which I've done how many times??? That's the Gemini run away tactic.

Then my Aquarius friend calls me and says I'm going to call you back later tonight you better have it done by then.

She's not the one doing the work but she adds that extra bit of pressure and motivation.

That's what I mean by guiding him. Gemini is a mutable sign so there capable, but they need a bit "oomph" of a fixed sign to get them in the right direction.

I think having personal planets in Taurus will give them a lot more sensuality and staying power. This I know. I've dated several Taurus moons and they are pretty mellow. Their feelings are usually steadfast if they love you. Be blessed! My gem BF has a Taurus venus. VERY touchy feely, wants to see me all the time, wants to hold me, wants to always be next to me and tells me he loves me.

I'm a libra, so I will be on the fence atleast for a little bit more, but he gets me.
