Is your attraction very sexual in nature? Even if the orb is pretty wide, the signs being the same can help. Also, the Venus/Mars aspect could be tied to another sexual aspect.

For example, my girlfriend and I have a Venus/Mars conjunction between 1-2 degrees. She’s the Mars. But her Mars is also SQUARE my Pluto at 2 degrees.

That definelty plays a role.

I completely agree. I always somehow end up initiating. With my boyfriend, I initiate more. I buy him gifts, I did a surprise for him on valentine’s day. But we do have 7 degree Venus-Mars sextile, so he initiated at the beginning of the relationship.

I found that even though I have an earth venus, I tend to attract men with air venus, usually with earth moons. But my friend, he has Moon in Libra too. Our moons are exactly square, 0 degrees. I didn’t know we had the conjunction until a month ago. I’ve known him for like 5 months now. The attraction was there even in the beginning.

I’ve talked about it with my boyfriend. I explained to him that if I did date my friend, it wouldn’t be a long lasting relationship. The chemistry is strong but there’s things about him and me that I know will break us up once the romance calms down.

Thank you. I thought I was being crazy. I have already established my boundaries with my friend. I really do care about my boyfriend a lot. I am glad I can tell him things and he understands. He’s probably felt the same way before with someone else, who knows.

Also, I noticed you said your friend wanted a massage from you. My piece of advice is that I would avoid any form of intimate touching like that. The attraction with this aspect is really strong. You’ll find that you really like touching him and he’ll probably like touching you too. I guess figure out what you want from it first and then establish your boundaries.

I remembered this thread from a while ago, and I had to bump it.

I just confirmed I have this aspect with someone.

The first time we met, I kinda brushed off whatever it was I was feeling. I remember having butterflies before even seeing him up close. When I did get closer, his reaction immediately told me he was attracted to me. He kept trying to get close to me all night long. When the party ended, he lingered, but I left before he could talk to me. I could tell he wanted to.

Met him again at another gathering, but I ignored him all night.

It’s been a long while since then.

Recently, I seen him again... the way he looked at me! I wanted so badly to get close to him. Again, that night, he lingered to try to talk to me. I left.

This guy isn’t my “type”.

Plus, I thought he was disgusting for being so overtly sexual towards me (he’s mars).

But... I remember thinking, ‘we HAVE to have Venus conjunct mars’.

I FINALLY got his date of birth, pulled up his chart and there it was!!!! 🤪

His mars conjuncts my Venus and trines my moon. His Pluto is square my moon and conjunct my mars (my mars may sextile his moon). If he’s born later in the day, his moon sextiles both my sun/ac and saturn (8th house ruler) forming a minor triangle. His Venus is conjunct my IC, square my Uranus and sextile my Jupiter. My moon is widely opposite his sun. We have a Pluto trine Mercury DW.

He’s a friend of my family.

I couldn’t be friends with him. I cannot even look at him without an intense gaze. It’s so subconscious. Without even noticing it, I find myself smiling and leaning into him. I’ll eventually catch myself and walk away. I think if I didn’t keep my distance, I may find myself kissing him before even realizing what I’m doing. I wanna be affectionate with him. It feels like we’d have SOOO much fun together. 🙄

I have two friends where ones Mars and moon is on my venus-jup-node. I dont feel any sexual chemistry with him at all, and never have. He is not attractive to me at all. He is like a bro. But I suspect he finds me attractive. But we act like siblings around each other, constantly teasing and negging each other aries style!

The other ones mars is square my venus. And my Mars is trine his venus. Our chemistry is off the charts since day one. But we have other things going for us in synastry. Like uranus-sun-venus-moon contact. Saturn-venus contact. Mars-pluto-moon action etc.
