If you’re the Mars person, how do you feel about the Sun person?

This is a general synastry question, not just for romantic relationships.

I find that when people square my Sun, they tend to irritate me, especially Mars in Taurus. They always wanna do things a different way when I already explain how I want things done or how it should be done to get accurate results. It really bothers me because they go on and do what they think should be done anyway and it doesn’t always go well.

I loved it sex wise but the fights not so much but with maturity and experience I think the negative side effects would be minimal.

Hmmm now that I think about it, two masculine planets sharing a dynamic energy wouldn’t be too bad.

I think Mars is able to handle a lot of hard aspects from other planets, with the exception of Pluto.

The Sun? Not so much. It’s too egocentric tbh.

But I get that, I can see how that aspect in synastry under fixed signs would be like that. Also mars aspect pluto sounds like it can play out like that. Power struggles.

I guess that’s true too that’s it’s a fixed sign problem. I don’t have a lot of fixed planets but the Sun is still pretty strong in me.

Its irritating, I have it with a friend and my partner. I have gotten better at dealing with it over the years (bt my partner and I).

Power struggles, bickering over little stuff, attack-attack mode dynamics. Not all the time ofcourse, thank god.

Taurus_Sun_Mars_Mercury here! We probably have lots of common fixed Leo/Taurus squares )

These fixed synastry squares often tend to bother and irritate me either :/, but I found there may be some "kind of way" how to handle this "authority(Sun)-power(Mars)-fight" synastry aspect.

If both persons admit and accept their different roles for some time:
A) the first person plays the "Authority/General" (Sun) role; while the second person plays the "Soldier" (Mars) who obeys and performs Sun's orders
... but after some time they switch their roles ...
B) and the first person accepts orders from the second person (for this time).

I had a good friend who passed on that had a double whammy with my chart: their Mars conjunct my Sun, my Mars conjunct his Sun.

I remember being the one that initiated a lot of the contact. Their Moon in Aries conjunct my Asc.

An ex has their Mars square my Sun. I think this aspect was not as potent there. As I was not hot for him. To be honest, I found him a little annoying and would be irritated by him. So perhaps that was the effect?

I think that the lack of attraction may have worsened because of his Saturn on my natal T-square. That is s boner killer.

So I guess asteroids can alter the feeling of sun square mars specially if other planets are joining this like my 5th house ruler Neptune or my Venus.

Come to think of it I have never experienced purely Mars square Sun in a romantic relationship! SO maybe it is a very irritating aspect LOL

I have Mars in Taurus and it squares my Aquarius Sun also. As a result of have the configuration natally I love Mars squares and have a lot of friends with Mars in Taurus or Scorpio.

Aries Descending and Mars in the 7th though, so free, open, grounded expression is very comfortable for me.

I wonder about Mars in Scorpio though. I haven’t met one with an early enough degree to square my Sun. They’re always in the later degrees, so the effect is not there.

My Mars is in my 7th also, so women with Libra Mars in particular, are very hot, especially when they're right on my Moon and then squaring both my Sun and Mars. I'm not even bothered by Mars square Mars either, for some reason, it turns me on more. The only problem I have with these women are when they make moves on me that I should be making on them, they want me right then and there, but as a Cancer Ascendant with Sun in my First House, I'm a slow rapport building guy, and it becomes a huge blow to my ego.
