I really like this guy I'm seeing, but I'm disturbed that we have Saturn opposite moon in the composite. My ex and I also had this composite aspect and I felt really hurt because he didn't seem to care at all about me.

My parents have this in composite and synastry. Why would you think its a deal breaker? Just curious to hear your experiences with this aspect.

Close friends of ours are getting married in a couple weeks and they have Moon sq. Saturn in their composite. Moon only squares Jupiter otherwise in their composite. What else is going on with your Moon in your composite?

Above all, Moon/Saturn in any aspect is an aspect of devotion as far as I've seen it. Even in relationships that don't last, there is a lingering sense of you never truly forgetting that person. Binding for better or for worse I suppose.

If you interpret the Moon as the "female" in the composite you can read it in other ways...like the female being older, more mature, wiser, the more responsible one, etc. etc. which is definitely the case with my friends getting married. Perhaps the female brings a more burdensome presence to the relationship...as in she has her own baggage to be worked through or is dealing with an issue that is a constant theme in the relationship.

I would attribute feelings of distance to planets like Uranus in a composite. They can enact a hot one day/cold the next vibe or a feeling of independence in the relationship on behalf of one or both people. More the hard aspects...soft aspects seem to keep things fresh and interesting. It could have also been aspects in your synastry making you feel that way.

hi manderine
sun/moon oppossitins are usually make it or break it.
the relationship brings out stress by different reference points or opposite viewpoints. if the differences can reconciled and integrated in ach other respectively, then this becomes a devoted commitment that can weather most anyway difficulties. but if there is no compromises then it usually breaks off.

I feel this would only be a dealbreaker if the two of you were not mature enough to handle yourselves. These two planets can only be valued truly if you are mature because they encompass traits revolving around maturity (home life, emotions, parenting, commitment, etc). They are also naturally in opposition by sign rulers. If neither of you are mature enough to handle their matters, then it will probably break as soon as you both realize this. Not caring about the other's situation is a sign of lack of maturity.

That is not really how you should interpret the composite. The composite is combined energies, it is both of you as a couple. One being.

The moon in the composite does not represent the female in the relationship (they probably have something in synastry that relates more to what you've said). Composite Moon is the way the couple shows emotional bonding and commitment. Composite Saturn is the way the couple handles Saturnian issues, such as family, career, business, society in general, the karma of everyday life, etc. Having Composite Moon square Composite Saturn could indicate the two have a problem with finding a balance with private life and public life, it can indicate they have an issues with figuring out their karma as a couple, perhaps they can never find the right time be affectionate and warm because they are always focused on Saturnian things, it could also indicate that the couple is just not able to find mutual ground on the long-term goals of their relationship. They are not seeing eye to eye on something important and depending on the orb it will probably pop up frequently to the point of frustration and possible emotional outbursts.

The opposition is better for this, because these two planets are in natural opposition. There will be the same/similar problems coming up, but it will be easier to find the common ground and mend them since they are in opposition. Square is tricky for these two particular planets. There are certain aspects I would prefer to have in the synastry than the composite and I think Moon square Saturn is one of them.

i had this aspect with someone (we also have sextile in synastry DW). we edit each other and yes, the emotional distance is there. I would prefer to have the hard aspect in the synastry.

if you want to see how this affect each person, look at the aspect the composite planet makes on each other chart. in my case, the composite saturn conjunct his venus... and yes, i can see how this relationship was "heavy" to him more than to me... composite jupiter aspect my venus (lol).... but i do think it is a dealbreaker unless both person are looking for very down to earth and stable relationship. however, if one or both is too romantic, it would feel off...

i suspect that people who succed with this aspect in composite are very saturnian with little neptune and jupiter to rebel against...it must be lot of maturity and "realism"... that is not for everybody.
