Any idea as to what might be the cause of this between two people? When they’re up, you’re up and when they’re down, you are too. And vice-versa. Your mood often depends on how they are feeling/interact with you. Only when they’re around, you’re fine without them, but once you’re near them, your mood is heavily affected by theirs.IP: Logged |

Thank you. I thought it might be a Moon/Asc/Dsc thing. I don’t have the proper time of birth for these two, but thought I would take a guess regardless. IP: Logged |

In a Composite chart I would think Jupiter and Saturn would either be conjunct or in a strong sextile/trine aspect. If they are in opposition or square the people are rarely in sync with their moods. When one is optimistic the other is automatically pessimistic etc. Also the Moon in a strong stable aspect to them - a positive one preferably. Big ups and downs can be seen with aspects between Saturn and Uranus - negative ones. Also either or both of them making an uneasy aspect to the inner planets.IP: Logged |

Add to Moon/Asc, if they are both water Moons. This too can occur esp Pisces/Cancer.I would also reckon Neptune/Moon or Neptune Sun contacts or mutable Sun esp Pisces can also respond this way. As mutable adapts quickly to the environment. My sister and I have Cancer Moon. I avoid being around her when she is in the dumps. I have mutable Sun, Neptune conjunct Sun and Moon in water. I can't help but soak things up sometimes.

Thank you for your reply. They have a Jupiter/Saturn sextile in composite at 5°, and the square in synastry 2°. Sun/Saturn conjunct in synastry less than 1°. IP: Logged |

Thank you, Aries23. One is a Virgo Moon the other is an Aqua Moon. It’s strange, neither one has strong water in their chart. The Aqua Moon is water void, and the Virgo Moon only has a generational planet as a water singleton. They both have Venus/Neptune aspects in their natals (conjunct and trine) as well as in synastry and the composite. IP: Logged |

It’s a sextile, less than a degree. They’re not together romantically, we’re all coworkers. It would be best if they just avoid each other. But that seems to bother them too. Like they can’t live with/without each other. They take turns orbiting around each other. IP: Logged |

Is Neptune making any other aspects? Sounds like they have a codependency to one another they can't control.IP: Logged |

They only have the Venus/Neptune double whammy in synastry. In the composite, Neptune sextiles the Moon/Venus. I think they might be codependent people in general. One seems like an avoidant with underlying attachment issues, and the other one needs to be liked by everyone. IP: Logged |

Interesting, if Moon and Venus are conjunct in the Composite this gives them closeness they can't escape. They just get together quickly and want to remain this way. They probably sit relatively close (if it's an office) and could be eating or even overindulging together. They could be giving one another treats like sweets, chocolate etc, keeping each other happy in ways like that. Neptune only adds to this and really loosens the boundaries. I guess they both have this similarity of wanting to give and receive affection and be liked by everyone so it's all blissful and harmonious. IP: Logged |

Thank you for your replies. I’ll have to bring in some treats they can share. Haha.

I can give assurance that moon conjuction moon. With my ex girlfriend we had both moon in piscis in conjuction, although there could be many causes, we were born almost at the same time and date except the year .. we shared some planets, even the ascendant were together .. we agreed much the humor although she always faced life very different from me, I suppose that is because birth dates some personal planets were in Sagittarius and mine in Scorpio.IP: Logged |

My partner and I have Moon Squine Moon and his mood impacts my mood but part of me feels that is just human nature bc of the mirror neurons, ofcourse the stronger your emotional boundaries the easier it will be to not let the mood of other's impact your own but the more connected you are to someone the easier their mood will impact you.Like Franco pointed out with moon conjunct moon. My ex and I have moon conjunct moon, I remember when I broke up with him I could feel his pain from a distance which made my own heartbreak 100 times worse, I couldn't stand feeling him in pain, it was killing me to the point that I prayed he would find a girlfriend and when I ask for something from the heart it comes true, I didn't want him to truly find a girlfriend but I rather that than to feel his pain so strongly and I knew that would ease the pain. Him and I both have moon in pisces square neptune and our moons conjunct and parallel so we were very intune to each other emotionally so yes his mood impacted my mood. IP: Logged |

I would say its something psycholgical and a behavioural thing. It sounds like you are hyper aware of each others feelings, moods, actions etc. I don't see many taking up this at this forums, but look up "the attachment theory". It sounds like atleast you have an "preoccupied anxious attachment style". It makes one hyper aware of ones partners moods and actions. The tiniest mood changes in your partner will give you anxiety and affect your mood.
I have this style aswell, and I'm very interested in learning and applying attachment theory on charts. You need to learn what attachment style you have, and how to handle your inner critic voice and your anxiety. And learn what is the triggers behind your anxiety, what kind of actions, words etc brings this out in you etc. There is simple and fast tests you can do online to figure out your attachment style IP: Logged |

Thank you Hypatia for sharing. It’s crazy how emotional we can get over some people. I am known for letting other people “hang their dirty clothes on my line”, so to speak. It’s hard not to sometimes. IP: Logged |

No worries, Melinn. I did start this thread with someone in mind. However, I wanted to keep the thread as general as possible so that other people felt comfortable with sharing their own experiences. I will definitely look up the attachment theory, as I have felt this way about other people before. IP: Logged |
