I am aware that this is not the best synastry ever. But we have my Sun on his NN, my Chiron on his SN. I fear for the Saturn square Venus actually. Uranus opposition Mercury for us is great because we're both engineers.

I wonder if the magnetic pull comes from his Venus trine to my Pluto.

There are lots of things happening that are providing the attraction;

Venus trine Pluto
Mars conjunct his Pluto
Plus he completes a yod for you
Sun conjunct NN
the Saturn opposite Moon is tough but binding

you have a lot of reasons here you are being pulled together. Off the bat I think he is going to help you reach NN goals. You have NN in 3rd, and with his Uranus opposite your Mercury/Jupiter he's going to expand the way you think. This is good bcs Mercury Jupiter in Sag may tend to being pretty set in your thinking, and maybe soapbox like. So he can help you see new perspectives. You have a strong focus on building partnerships and he will affect this too, with his Pluto in your 7th and conjunct your Mars.

You're going to help him too, with your Sun conjunct his Sag NN. You'll teach him how to open his ideas and beliefs and experience life. It's interesting bcs your NN is 3rd house, ruled by Gemini, and his is Sag, so in essence you two are coming from opposite views and can teach each other a lot.

Thanks for that. I actually worry more his Saturn square my Venus and my Saturn opposite his Moon. It's worriesome and probably the reason why the relationship can't get off the ground. When we met he was divorcing, he has kids and with Saturn falling in my 5th house -I think it won't be easy and light.

My progressed Moon just entered Saggitarius and will conjunct his NN and also his progressed Sun is on his natal Venus. But at the same time Chiron is squaring his Venus and it's a heartbreaking transit. I am afraid nothing will happen after all. And me as a Pluto person in that very tight trine to his Venus, I really want to posses him.

SA 90 Ve in synastry is not the judgement aspect at all.
In my astro base i have several synastries of married couples with that aspect.
Saturn is considered as bonding planet. Even a easier connection via sextile or trine doesn't bring any relief.. Saturn is always a lesson, a restriction or demand.

Consider your natals at first place -if you nataly have SA/VE energies involved.

I had a synastry where both of us carried SA 90 VE nataly, but our synastry was filled with Sa 60 Mo and Sa 120 Ve. Strange, but it didn't kept our relation last..

About MOON - SA connection - opposition - impact on personal planets or luminaies is always profound, but develops in time.

I think that it is very important what kind of energies you both can handle.. Some people are natural in dealing with Saturn energies, others must learn..
