Grief, loss, mourning. Next to any of the love asteroids (Amor, Eros, Psyche) this can make for disastrous or painful love affairs, and can even indicate death or loss of a partner.

Guys check what this asteroid is doing in synastry, composite or davison in the relationships you experienced the strongest kind of heartbreak.

In Davison with my ex we have AMOR conjunct Melpomene exact which conjuncts my natal ALMA and LUST exact.

The heartbreak I experienced was deep, hitting me at the core of my soul indeed.

In composite we have ALMA opposite CUPIDO with Melpomene at the apex forming a T-Square.

Melpomene actually isn't very active in our composite and davison charts. However, since I don't have his birth time, there's a chance it aspects something major like the Moon, Ascendant, or Midheaven.

I don't believe this man really broke my heart. It's complicated, but him breaking up with me did have a strong impact on me. Before he dumped me, I wanted to turn my emotions off. Well, after he dumped me, my emotions did turn off and I hated it. While the circumstances make actual heartbreak unlikely, so far no other break-up has resulted in me becoming completely numb. When interacting with people, all I had were my memories to know how to behave and respond. It was not pleasant.
