So I was thinking about protection in a relationship. Like, do you ever meet someone who you desperately want to protect or fend for even if you don't know them very well? Like you always want to stick up for them?I have figured this is because of the 1st house but do you think that is true? I think this because Aries is the warrior; the God of War who always reigns supreme no matter how hard and long he must fight. Aries like to protect his family and his friends and the people of his country because he cannot stand to see someone below him being attacked when he knows he has the power to help them fight back. I believe this could also be the power of the 12th house, since Pisces is the martyr. But, with the 12th house protection, I feel it can be a bit more selfish and catty type of protection (due to it being a water house), where the 12th house person is simply protecting you only so that they can reap a positive response from others rather than because they actually care.
The 7th house protection is also different in that it opposes the 1st house so when you share 7th house synastry, you do not really want to "protect" this person, rather you feel you need to be protected BY this person. It's like the vice versa basically.
1st house: I must comfort and protect this person bc I know very well the types of suffering they may receive from others.
7th house: I want to be protected and comforted by this person bc I know they have what I knew to feel safe and secure from the types of suffering I may receive from others.
12th house: I will protect and comfort this person only because it gives me peace of mind and helps me to find solace in my fellow man.
So, is this true? Have any of you ever experienced this type of "I want to protect you" in 1st house synastry?
Have you ever been the 1st house person and felt that you just NEEDED to protect the planet person from some type of scrutiny or belittlement? Ever been the 7th house person and felt like you wanted the planet person to protect you, keep you warm and safe?
