So I just met my younger sister's boyfriend today. He seems very nice and is a good guy for her compared to all the other guys she's liked before. I already "approve" of him even though I just met the kid. They're both 16. He is such a gentleman to her and I am glad my sister found someone who treats her nice at this age. He is a bit shy for an Aries but that's okay. They seem like a good fit for each other.

But...

...what do you guys think? Based on their synastry and composite.

I like their Sun conjunct Moon. It's a very nice aspect to have, especially in this dynamic because my sister is the Moon person and he is the Sun person. It's like they get each other and no one understands it but them. I've seen Sun conjunct Moon to be very binding even though it's a struggle with the rest of the chart.

Off topic, but I had a friend who kept coming back to her ex that she's wanted to let go of for so long. They had Sun conjunct Moon in Scorpio. It was an unhealthy relationship but it was like they were super glued to each other. I wonder if this is how it will turn out with my sister and him, without the unhealthy controlling and obsessing part.

I also like the double-whammy ASC-DSC conjunction, her planets in his 4th house and his planets in her 7th house.

I was actually shocked too when I saw his chart because my sister said there were some similarities between him and my boyfriend. I realized he also has Venus and Mars in the 1st like my man.

But then I am also worried about that t-square involving my sister's Sun. I don't know how that will play out even with the lose orbs.

My sister is blue and her boyfriend is red:

The only thing I am worried of with this composite chart is that the Moon is not well-aspected. I hope the Moon being placed in Taurus, the sign of exaltation for the Moon, will help balance out any negatives.

But who really knows. They're still in high school. And I told her honestly, don't hope too much yet since it's only the beginning. But if they strive enough to work things out, I have a feeling they might last past high school.

I see a synastry t-square to his Mercury. But yes, now I see, her Sun is on the other end of that opposition.

I suspect that the Mercury will suffer more, as it is at the "point" bit. And too because it has not free/easy aspects to find a way out of the tension.

Also, looks like his Mars is not aspected in the synastry. I'm thinking that at 16 you'd want an aspected Mars He may feel de-masculated without having that. Also that it rules his Sun. He will move on I think, there will sure to be others who will activate his Mars soon enough.

I see arguments then. In particular that it's her Mars squaring his Mercury (Mercury without escape). Sticking with it for a little time because of the affinity they have with both Saturns conjunct NN (even though it's age-related), and they are young so they will try. And also, because the ruler of his DC and her Asc are conjunct. Ultimately, it will end in disillusionment because of the Neptune opposite her Sun and not enough supportive elements all around, with some tears and broken hearts, because also they Pluto is opposite that Saturn gathering.

Which is all pretty typical for their age anyhow while we learn to "do" relationships

Not sure that Venus is aspected much in the Composite either.

hi Solar_Leo_Queen

I don't think this will go to far as there is a strong strain of selfishness here. Saturn/sun/node stellium opposed to pluto/south node is extremely selfish and being that they are still young the selfishness might be more pronounced.

in addition the mars/venus midpoint is square to the moon/Uranus midpoint. this shows the very intense attraction they have for each other but with Uranus involved there is a greater chance that this relationships will burn out after the intensity wanes.

with chiron opposed to mars, he is unlikely to want to compromise on anything as he seems to like the edges of society.

you sister might be in over her head because the Saturn/sun/node stellium opposed to Pluto and the south node shows he is a very persuasive person. but this morals might be suspect as these symbols together show a very controlling and dominating personality.
with the node involved, he may have some sort of mental power which your sister might find exciting. these "mental powers" need not be negative but the tendency to control others is very strong.this is a very powerfulconnection but I am not sure if it will be positive or negative for your sister.

Thanks for everyone's replies!

Yeah maybe I see him differently and I am measuring him up to my own standards, not my sister's. He does have Jupiter tightly conjunct my Moon, so it is possible I am feeling biased. Like I said, he's a good kid and he seems mature for his age, but I do not really know him that well besides the things he shows us.

They are only in the beginning of the relationship, so stuff you guys mentioned may not be showing up yet. I kinda got freaked out when I read their synastry although there are some nice connections that I saw. Will definitely update in a few months or so.

How interesting!

Isn't it funny how we are different people to different people, depending on our synastry?

One person could claim something extremely different about a person than another person.

Keep us updated if you can and would like to
