Uranus is currently passing over her asc, and his Saturn. She may feel the desire for change with this, and her boyfriend is feeling the pressure as well since Uranus is challenging stable sautrn.

Additionally, the nodes are square the asc/dsc axis, which will also put emphasis on any of her relationships that are not solid.

She looks to be middle aged, correct? A woman at this phase of her life probably has a stronger grip on what they want...lol. shes probably pondering that with this relationship now. The current transits are provoking this more than likely.

Thanks for replying, llewsacm! Yes, the couple are both middle aged and divorced. My friend feels that her boyfriend doesn't love her... any way to tell from the charts? And how long will this transit lasts? Interestingly, their pMoon is changing signs in a couple of months. Any relation to how she's feeling as I read that when pMoon is changing sign, it will affect the "tone" of the r/s?

Her boyfriend is heavy cap, so he may come across as reserved with his affectionate side. I think that may be one of the things that initially drew her interest to date him in the first place actually. Her placements show a need for some stability in a mate...maybe that's not enough for her right now?

I am sure the progressions have some weight on her as well, but I am unfortunately not well versed in that area. There has been some specilation that pmoon to the natal asc, sun or another inner planet can signal the end (or beginning) to a relationship, but honestly I have not studied that in depth to know for sure that there is in fact a distinctive pattern. You might want to put up another post with the progressed chart synastry to see if anyone else with knowledge of that will chime in.

Yes, she wants someone stable and affectionate but her heavy-Cap boyfriend is not warm enough for her. In addition, he doesn't seem to get along well with her friends whereas she's chummy with all his close friends, so it's a bit unbalance.
