I think the main problem is his own chart. His moon/Mercury is in a t-square with his own Pluto and Saturn. This is going to make him an interesting character regardless of who he’s with, he is naturally quite manipulate and controlling, passive-aggressive to begin with. This has notning to do with you. Although with you introducing your own mars and Saturn into his chart, this is going to exacerbate these issues in him. But your Venus is there too, so it’s not all bad. Now for the composite, you have the love stellium on the first house! This is wonderful. But it’s opposed Uranus, which can show hot and cold feelings, instability in the relationship. Or an on and off relationship, where you never know where you stand or what to expect for the other person.
Moon is conjunct Pluto, this can produce intense feelings and lots of bonding and intimacy/closeness, but also manipulation or obsession/co-dependency, jealousy of controlling behaviours as the dark side of Pluto.
The main issue im seeing in the composite if the birthtimes are right though, is Saturn square the ASC/DSC axis exact. This is a TERRIBLE aspect. I almost always see it in unhealthy, toxic, abusive or unhappy relationships. I’ve also experienced it myself. It’s really tough. But the composite is not that bad overall, you have some other strong positive factors that might help offset that dreaded Saturn square.

These planets are hitting your Venus and his moon/mercury, these are soft planets so it doesn’t feel too nice to have these harsher ones like this. It’s not for everyone.
