So I recently did up my cousin's natal chart but she feels that it doesn't describe her. Birth details are accurate.

Would anyone like to have a go at describing her personality?

I will play!

Take it with a grain of salt, and of course you already gave the heads up that she doesn't identify...

So, I see her actually as being fairly reserved, serious. Late bloomer. She comes across as very reserved and serious to others, and this may confuse her because there is also a side to her that is very action oriented, and also very nurturing. I feel like maybe she is often in a tug of war situation with herself. I think she probably doesn't always see herself or allow herself to act how she thinks she "should." And she may overthink her actions, while at other times she just feels like she is in quicksand. Sometimes she feels she's moving through water and things are a dream or haze of sorts.

I would say she may be fairly career oriented, though with her mars saturn in the 12th and 1st it probably didn't happen until later in life. And chiron right on the mc... that can be a talent in counseling or healing others, but I imagine it compounded her indecisiveness and inability to act. Always hesitant. Conjunct venus and she has experienced a lot of pain in her life. But she's driven nonetheless, and will continue to strive to achieve to the end of her days.

I feel like she may be more comfortable in an office than at home, with NN in scorpio 4th house. So much is riding in her 10th, it's not helping her achieve the lessons of the NN. I like her Sun Jupiter conjunction. This amplifies her true nature. I think she can be fairly cautious, but optimistic and exuberant too at times. These are great health signs by the way- sun in an angular house, plus jupiter conjunct the sun and in the 10th... she has the potential for longevity and for great career accomplishment.

That mars square chiron though... ouch. And saturn. Double ouch. She had a rough time in her life. And she carries it with her in every way. It can hold her back, making her afraid to move or decide. She has a lot of things in her chart holding her back from really achieving what she can achieve. That scorpio 4th house NN teaches her to dig deeper and look within to find her inner strength and knowledge. That's how she will overcome her hurts and use them to her advantage.

That Gem moon probably feels a little foreign to her, but it probably kept her afloat in the darkest moments. She's able to detach from it all and think it through, analyze and make sense of things. It provides her some lightness. The fact that it is unaspected likely makes it stand out even more. She feels like its not making sense in her chart, but as I said, I think this is probably a gift to her.

She's prone to instability within her relationships, but she would do well with a very rock solid Capricornian person. She needs that dependability, reliability. I think she also doesn't connect to her own power. She can really communicate to others in a powerful way, but its a struggle to integrate this in her life. She knows its there, but doesn't quite know how to access it. it feels off to her. She can again come to learn her own power and strengths through really spending time to learn herself. Deep inner self work.

Thanks, StoneMoon, and I appreciate your interpretation.

So here's the reality...

When I did her colour horoscope on astro.com, she turns out to be highly Saturnian and this is the part I find puzzling because she doesn't feel Saturnian to me at all other than she's often too careful and "responsible" (she'll take on things which have nothing to do with her and then mess it up, lol). But on the other hand, she can be extremely impulsive, confusing and irresponsible. Also, none of my friends who've met her ever said she's reserved/serious. In fact, they said she's friendly and chatty (more like her Gem moon). I'm the serious/reserved one instead (lol) and I get that comment a lot.

It's interesting you said she needs someone Capricornian because she has always relied on me since young and I'm not even Saturnian according to my chart although I've Saturn sextile Sun/Mercury, trine Mars. Does a Saturnian seek another Saturnian? Is that how it works? Or is it because Saturn rules her 7th house?

As for her being career-oriented, I'm not sure as well and she also doesn't agree. She has problems with her bosses/colleagues everywhere she goes so she doesn't stay in a job for long, let alone having a chance to build her career. She offends people with words. She's in her 40s now and her career has yet to take off.

And for her talent in counselling... it feels more like we have been counselling her instead (lol) because she gets into trouble with everyone, from family members, relatives, to people at the workplace.

Where in the chart do you see that she may have problems accessing her strength? I'm curious to understand where all her Saturnian energies go.

Does anyone else wants to give it a try? But pls don't be influenced by what I wrote. Pls just read based on what you see from the chart.

Saturnian is the sense to take leadership and be responsible, and the Chiron squares are interfering with her confidence. I think the Mars in 12th right on ASC from behind is the cause of impulsivity and her maybe being caught off guard by her impulsiveness and actions!

She needs a Saturn person bcs her DSC is Saturn, but also because yes, she will identify with their qualities and they can help stabilize her. She has plenty of Saturn qualities, so she will likely appreciate and seek out other people who represent this to her. And yes, your Saturn aspects are enough to provide stable comfort for her. She doesn't have to have a super Cap to make her feel good, just someone who has Saturn energy in their chart.

Saturn makes her a late bloomer, and her Chiron square is making it worse. I am Saturnian too, and I swore I would never go back to school and never wanted a career. Lo and behold, at 35 I put myself through grad school, while raising two kids as a single parent, and am now carving out a career for myself. It will kick in, but it takes time. She does need to be careful of her Chiron, it's really inhibiting her.

IF she manages to address her wounds, she CAN be a counselor healer sort. But right now she is choosing to not address it, and that's a curse of Chiron and Chiron square Mars and Saturn. She's hiding from the responsibility and the need to face problems. I am not sure where the offending people with her words is coming from, other than maybe Mercury in 11th in Gemini has an out there vibe and can say whatever? Not sure.

She needs to do a lot of soul searching and learn to stand on her own two feet. NN in Scorpio in 4th means this. She has to figure herself out, and way beyond her physical self. She has to get to her psyche. Thats the beauty of Saturn though, it doesn't give up and just keeps trying.... she just has to be careful about letting Chiron rule that.

Its an interesting war bcs she has Chiron at her highest point (and it's currently winning) but Saturn right on her ASC for all the world to see. Her chiron is more aligned with her true inner self than her Saturn unfortunately.

Thanks for your insights on Chiron which makes sense and your take on what constitutes Saturnian energy. My cousin is also very close to our youngest aunt and all 3 of us have Taurus traits (I've Sun/Mercury in Taurus. My aunt has Moon/Mercury in Taurus and my cousin has Sun/Venus in Taurus). So I believe our Taurus traits bring her familiarity and comfort as well. My aunt also has Saturn conjunct Sun, trine MC. No Capricorn planets. Again, not very Saturnian in the traditional sense.

Recently an astrologer told me you don't need to be Capricorn-heavy to have Saturnian energy and I'm beginning to believe this. It's worthwhile to review some traditional interpretations, I feel.
