Yes. With one of my closest friends, who I am currently on the outs with. My Sun squares her Chiron. Actually, my Moon squares it too.
We became friends very quickly, and deeply connected. We have had no issues until now. None. Even if she were to annoy me it was nothing to me. She lives a very different lifestyle, and is fiercely dedicated to her husband and child. I voiced a hurt to her, and she felt I challenged her identity. I have no problems with how she lives her life, despite my own personal beliefs. But she felt I implied I did have issues with her choices and that I made her feel wrong for having them... and here we are. My Mercury also opposes her Mars, so it's a mix. I said something that clearly challenged her, and my very nature is like salt in a wound to her. IP: Logged |

Thank you StoneMoon for your input! Your situation with her is indeed so sun/chiron/mercury! Do you have chiron/mercury aspects in your chart and/or does she have mars/sun natal aspects?
It is interesting that even though you have no problem with her lifestyle (sun), she feels challenged by you (the square) and that hurts you (chiron)

No chiron mercury aspects in my chart, but my moon and mercury are inconjunct so I have a hard time with expressing myself well emotionally. This is not the first time I thought I expressed myself well to someone and they told me what I said was hurtful and out of the blue... the common denominator is me, so I am trying to figure this out. To me, I thought out my statement and tried very hard to make it "right". It is only when I am the person expressing my hurt that I have gotten this response from another... otherwise I communicate well.She is an Aries Sun, so there is your Sun Mars. But she is not very Arian. More Neptunian. But this was clearly the Aries side of her. She felt I criticized her choices, or questioned it. IP: Logged |
