Based on my experience It seems like the person who has Mercury in a water sign soothes the person with Mercury in a fire sign. Like my friend has Mercury in Pisces and when I tell her I'm upset about something. I feel like she's counseling me in a way. Then my friend who has Mercury in Cancer he'll say something that relaxes me and then I'll calm down. I prefer people who have Mercury in Cancer than Pisces though. I haven't met anyone who has Mercury in Scorpio. I feel like people who have Mercury in a water sign. Can help those who have Mercury in a fire signs relax.

I don't think I really like Earth Mercuries though. I know one person who has Mercury and Mars in Taurus. They speak slow it's like they have problems with their speech. I'm a Taurus sun but I don't like Mercury and Mars in Taurus.

Mercury in Taurus here! I don't think anyone has ever said I speak slow. I process my thoughts and make decisions slower, perhaps. My bestie has Mercury in Aries and I'm always asking her to slow down her decision-making becos she fires up very easily.

my fiancee has her mercury in scorpio, mine is in leo and it's the opposite in our case, i cheer her up and she finds me soothing more often whereas sometimes when i go to her i feel like just not saying anything wouldve been easier

end up needing to cheer her up instead nearly always

i get it because we feel each other deeply so both of us can get very affected by the other, but yeah... not the most comforting or soothing mercury lol
