Couldn't find a whole lot of information on t-squares (not grand cross) being formed in synastry...

Wondering in particular with the Neptune-Venus square in ones' chart being opposed/squared by the others' Mars.

Particularly those with personal experience, but any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I'll take a stab -

The person with the Mars will feel that suddenly the energy of the mars is softer. But also, more pointed than usual, and very intense feeling when around the other person.

The other person will feel suddenly awakened and more energised. But also disrupted from their usual manner of conducting themselves.

It depends on the rest of the aspects. Eg, from the opposition person it depends what else, in the form of other aspects, that Mars brings to the configuration. It may bring a challenged Mars and be too much? The same principles need to be considered for the opposition person.

Look to the house rulers to see which part of life is being activated.

Thanks sassaqua! I can really only speak for myself (being the Mars person) but it makes total sense what you're saying.

Just curious by saying intense... Did you envision the Pluto type intense by saying it? And curious why intense? (Just not sure where the intensity stems from since it's actually there, perhaps you're right but just curious what made you arrive at that conclusion - since his Pluto opposes my sun/moon midpoint at an exact degree and not sure what else I'm feeling at this point lol)

And true I should look at the natal planets being brought to the table. Just not sure what a challenged Mars would look like? Like Mars being in Cancer is I guess debilitated... And probably outer planets pointing to it?

Hey,

yes, I was trying to find the right word and paused a while as I struggled. Because with Neptune and Venus it is subtle, but no less intense.

It's "intense" not like deep Pluto, but yes, in a focused manner. And, usually with Mars is a more direct, fast and simple aggression, compared to Pluto. But, I'm not saying that the person will be aggressive to the other person. And anyhow, it can take time.

Here the Mars characteristic is captured in that one area and cannot get out. The Mars senses that it is losing agency, being a challenged aspect. And Mars loves to have agency. Yet, here it's cornered by these other planets. Which, Mars doesn't really like so, it will squirm as it tries to identify and adjust - either run or fight.

But, I think because it's soft, with Neptune and Venus, it will sort of just feel a sense of smothered-ness and a dampening of it's natural quick impulses. And it depends on other aspects.

Don't know about the midpoint. Depends on how much contact you are having. Midpoints take a while to feel. And it depends on how sensitive and attuned you are too.

Just my thoughts

Edit: I have started a few T-squares in synastry threads on LL. I am very interested also.
