Like the 5 of Pentacles in tarot, a deep nurturing instinct than can become a nurse/patient kind of situation. It can be karmic too, I'm sure there are ways to transcend the negative aspect though as the compassion and care is very real.

I had this with a karmic, Mars conjunct Chiron, Mars opposite Chiron both exact. All at 17 degrees, so there was a semi-sextile and quincunx in there too. I would say that that was one of the best parts of our friendships but I wouldn't say that it brings any more than a friend or almost brother and sisterly care.

There may be completely different experiences of course and obvious every synastry overlay is highly complex in its own right!! :-)

My latest article is about January 2019 and how this impact us, particularly with there being 2 eclipses this month. Have a read and hold tight, it could be a bumpy ride:

By the way I use the Morgan-Greer tarot deck as my main. It depicts the lady comforting the man in the 5 of Pentacles, different from the Rider Waite which seems to show the figures as separate and 'out in the cold'.

I've always thought the Morgan-Greer card shows a deep, supportive, caring bond, despite the hard circumstances.

Thank you for the response! It must be more intense with a double whammy situation. If it is only a one way conjunction, who would be the nurse and who would be patent? Or goes both ways?

Hiya,

I would say it could go both ways, but often the Mars person will be looking after the Chiron person. Are there are any aspects from the Mars persons' Chiron to the others' personal planets to balance it?

Here is the synastry -

I am inside, he is outside. So it his his Chiron that is making many aspects to planets in my chart but the conjunction to Mars is what caught my eye. Especially because it is involved in a Tsquare with his Mars and my moon/sun conjunction. I am not sure if this Tsquare will effect Chiron in a negative way? Does this mean I will be the care taker to him? Or should I be cautious with these aspects? Thank you for your help!

Chiron conjunct angles or personal planets can go either way, as someone else said. It's a planet of emotional healing and clearing up wounds. Sometimes you have to open up new wounds to be healed of the old ones, which is why Chiron can go either way. Not everyone is capable of handling more pain and suffering to get rid of the old pain and suffering but it is necessary sometimes. Chiron is like Pluto, a necessary evil or disappointment to retransform yourself into something better, stronger.

Thank you capricorncheriscty! I am starting to understand Chiron a bit more now but would like to know about it in Synastry and how it plays out when making aspects to each or certain planets. I’ve read a bit about the magi Chiron theories but have also read a lot of threads on here saying that is not true - being a relationship indicator. Always good to hear personal expierences so if you have any you would like to share!

I have Chiron natally conjunct several planets and asteroids, both inner and outer, so I have experienced it with pretty much everyone born in a similar time frame. It's Chiron, Venus, Pluto, Vesta, and DSC. Because Venus and the DSC are also in the mix, I can say that I have felt some suffering in my personal relationships, romantic and platonic. I struggle to make lasting connections with people my age because I feel like they are always trying to hurt me or mock me. It's one of those things where it starts off seeming like we were really compatible and could make it work and for a while we would have fun but eventually they would do something that really stung me and made it hard for me to trust them again. Pretty much happens all the time with people my age. Starts out nice and comfortable and caring, but then they open up wounds (often seeming purposefully done) and don't apologize for it or don't want to talk with me about it after, they just opened the wounds up for the hell of it and then ignored me after it was said and done. So I end up hurt and having to move on holding it all in. I have very few friends my age anymore, because of this.

I think Chiron can make us scared of going back to that battleground, so we intentionally run from it until one day we're gonna wake up realizing we should've jsut kept pushing along through the pain instead of pushing away from it. I know I shouldn't run away from maintaining friendships with people my age but it always hurts in ways they clearly don't understand or try to understand and it just got to a point where I am literally so devastated and heartbroken at the idea of communicating with them anymore. I can't face that stuff anymore, it hurts your ego after a while. So, I guess Chiron is telling me to heal and retransform my ego in my personal relationships. I think it would be similar to Mars with Chiron. Maybe the person will help you realize that you must be braver and stronger instead of running away from the conflict that arises between the two of you. Learn to heal and transform from the conflict, not fear it and let it take over your relationship. Because then you're bound to never speak to each other again lol.

I have a tight Mars-Chiron conjunction with my current Aqua bf. He is Aries Mars and me Aries Chiron. He has a natal Mars-Chiron conjunction too, so our 2 Chirons and his Mars are sitting all together.

He can be a bit harsh sometimes, and hurt me with his words and behaviour w/o realising it. I think he has a Mars wound (related to sex and being male), thats why he has in this life very manly appearance and does very manly things (like hunting, firefighting etc) and lives in a huge community of male friends and has 7 brothers... all this to learn how to be "male". Inside he can be quite insecure about his maleness and sometimes gives me the impression of being the woman in our relship. Btw he comes from a long-term marriage w little/no sex.

Me being Chiron in this mix I probably bring him sexual healing and at the same time he heals my Chiron ego wound, making me tougher (Im too sensitive and touchy-feely).

From the day one I felt as if he was my "spouse" - a very different feeling compared to other lovers I had had. I think Magi sees Mars-Chiron as marriage indicator. It does give the feeling you have to be loyal/devoted to that person.

Thank you jjj for telling your expierence with Chiron Conjunct mars. I have this with someone now, myself the mars and wonder how it could play out being a new relationship. Happy to hear it is healing for you both - Chiron always makes me a bit nervous in synastry because I know there’s potential for wounding too. I also have heard it is a marriage indicator from magi and wonder why this is more than Venus Conjunct Chiron? Do you feel you want to get married to him or just more a devoted feeling?

From my experience - Chiron conjunct a personal planet in synastry is never easy. I was always Chiron and I always got hurt, especially with Chiron-Venus me being the Chiron. The way the person socially behaved tore me apart, and they were not even conscious about it. His Aries Venus cj my Aries Chiron. Ended with much heartbreak for me, although Im sure our "romance" shook him too.

If you are Mars you are in a better position. Be careful not to hurt the Chiron person.

I think Venus-Chiron is different from Mars-Chiron, because Mars is physical and Venus is not... with Venus-Chiron things can remain platonic (as was my previous case) and the healing potentially stops there... with Mars you get physical and interact and thus the sharp edges come off and are polished. Mars forces you to be physical/interact.

In a way Mars -Chiron denotes marital sex and loyalty... it gives the feeling of devotion. He has asked me to marry him lol. Im not sure, as he seems very flirty with other women (he has natal Venus-Juno conjunct in Aqua). I have Venus opp Juno in natal. So we have several issues to solve...

Weird, my guy has Aqua Venus Conjunct Juno as well as mercury. He’s very flirty too which makes me feel I will be the one hurt. But will be careful being the mars. I have Natal Venus sq Juno at wide orb. Thank you this was very helpful. I have had Venus Conjunct Chiron with someone me being Chiron and yes ended up hurt but we both did. There was healing on both ends too but believe I was mostly the one healing him. After a few years of on and off flings, when we were done, he got into a serious relationship with someone. I think I have helped him heal from the relationship before me and maybe that was the purpose of our relationship - for him to heal.
