Topic: Venus opposite Mercury?

Is this aspect negative? Like the Venus person dislikes Mercury's opinions/way of talking/communicating/voice or smth like that?
Mercury is in Cancer in my case.

I have yet to see an opposition as "dislike". I find oppositions are incredibly engaging, though polarizing.I had this aspect with my ex, among many other cardinal oppositions, and his way of thinking gave me a reason to adjust what it was that I did or didn't like. As if my venus (values) reacted at face-value to to his thoughts. Because it is a Venus interaspect, there is an element of affection or a *relation*, irregardless of positive or negative. for the mercury person, I think that level of engagement is also applied and their thoughts are received (or not-received depending on dynamic) with "pleasure".

I see, of course it helps  I agree that there is an element of affection when it comes to Venus but I can't see how that can apply when it comes to Mercury-Venus aspect.
