For me...
Mars square Mercury creates a lot of unnecessary arguments. Need to learn to shut up.

Mars square Mars is sometimes frustrating. Different impulses, rhythm, assertiveness. Need adjustments.

Mars square Sun.... learn to learn to put the egos aside, which is often difficult.

I think for me Mars - Mercury square. I don't have it with anyone from my close circle now when I looked it up though.

Mar-sun square does not sound in theory that bad ego wise. I don't see Mars as that powerful ego and pride wise. Mars just does its thing , is competitive etc but its fire is not even close the fire of sun. I think Mars is more about, moving forward and doing its thing. It has no time and energy the way sun has, I believe.

BUT this is just my own subjective "feels" for the energies. I may be wrong.

No but seriously.. these personal planet squares can still be overcome if there are other positive things in the synastry.

I didn't include Mars-Pluto and Mars-Saturn because I feel that they're in a league of their own.

I've experienced Mars square Mercury DW. Taste REALLY bad.

No I think the biggest clashes ego wise is the one os Sun and Pluto. For me ego=power plays. And again I may be unexperienced about it all, but it seems to me Mars would not be able to win an ego game against sun, if ego is the theme here. Pluto and Sun though, they would be the kings of ego clashes IF there is any ego problem of course.. If I make any sense...
