Hiya everyone,
I have Ceres Conjunct Vesta with my boyfriend and it’s a double whammy.
I can’t find anything on the net, do you think it’s significant?
Has anyone ever experienced this aspect before?

Thanks
Lisa

I would expect a real soul connection feeling to be between the two of you. You both nurture each other's higher self connections to source.

Meditation together can be amazing and can connect at a deep healing level.

Hello Abrightfutureahead!
(I like that name!)

Depends what zodiac signs are involved, and which houses they are in.
Also, if your double whammies form an aspect to each other.

I'm not a Relationship astrologer, but I can give you what I have about "Ceres-Vesta" conjunction, and you can apply that to your relationships.

The "conjunction" aspect can be regarded as both being a stressful or a harmonious aspect.

CERES-VESTA ASPECTS
The 'nurturing principle' (Ceres)
combines with
'the dedication and focusing urges' (Vesta).

Harmonious aspects can indicate--
an intense devotion to family,
or the ability to experience nurturing through one's work, vision quest, or spiritual practice.
In some instances, the Ceres-Vesta individuals may become inspired to dedicate his/her life to serving and nurturing others.

Stressful aspects {incl squares/oppositions} can point to--
an alienation from the parenting role, barrenness, or sterility.
There may exist a conflict between family demands and one's personal need to seek solitude or to be engrossed in work.

Resolution of these challenges--
can be achieved through learning to balance the needs of the self with the obligations and responsibilities one has for others.
That this integration is possible is evidenced by the many parents who combine a rich family life, with a fulfilling career focus.

Example
* Princess Diana
born with Ceres-Vesta in TAURUS
dedicates her life to raising her children for the throne of England.

* Mao Tse-tung, first chairman of the People's Republic of China,
born with Ceres-Vesta VIRGO.
He dedicated his life to reorganizing China's agricultural and socio-cultural systems.

I think Princess Diana's life was dedicated to trying to find a soulmate.

So much of her focus was on romantic love and apparently she did find love before she died. Who's to know if would have endured, I'm glad she experienced it at least.

Her kids adore her but her focus was more on her self, I've always felt. As an idealist she made some great waves politically, but privately she was needy of attention and acceptance. Not a bad thing for a mother at all, but not a primary maternal emphasis either. :-)

Ceres has been given very 'maternal' emphasis in the past but I don't really feel that this is reflective of a changing world. Nurture and unconditional love is just as possible without the mother, child dynamic and fertility just as applicable to the land, as a human body.

Astrology evolves alongside culture. It must, or it will be lost gathering dust and interesting only to traditionalists and radicals ;-)

Jo-- You ought to borrow a copy of that book, from your local library perhaps? Her first chapters deal with how the roles of masculine-feminine are shifting as social cultures change.

The "mythological" figures involved in naming the planets/asteroids had genders.

But for us, these are the 'energies' of masc/fem within EACH of us.

haha, some dads make MUCH better caretakers of their children than the females do.
(traditional couples)

Maybe children of the future will be embryos that are fertilized in a dish, then placed into a robot to incubate. No mother. No father. Just egg and sperm donors.
.. Maybe the robots can be "programmed" to mimic better-caretaking than some folks' parents would ever be?
.. IF people want to be parents, and don't want to do the 'natural' way, they might go shopping at baby-robot-orphanages.

We HAVE to propagate the species.
Otherwise, if people stop wanting babies (reproduce seed), the species would expire?

What a cold and barren world.
