Synastry is more how both your energy interacts (as it's like each person's placements can feel like a walking transit to the other).

Composite is more something that is grown into- I don't usually see it much with people who just met, but usually those who have known each other a while and really gotten to know one another. Composite CAN look into to see how people will end up interacting, but there's too much free will involved to make too accurate of a telling.

I find comps tend to feel much more strong after knowing the person for a longer period of time (at least 6 months to a year, if not longer).

ˆAgree. Composite is what COULD BE. You will see the themes playing out more and more over time.

As to ChildofVenus's question - it could show but it should correspond with synastry aspects. I would find it strange not to see any sexual attraction aspects in synastry if you see it in composite.

Composites show how the two people view each other. For example in a composite chart with an afflicted sun, it means the man isn't happy in the relationship and is better with someone else. The moon shows the woman and the aspects the moon makes shows how she is in the relationship.

How do you know which planets represent the man and the woman is in the composite chart? The Sun represents the man and the Moon is the woman. What about Mars, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter etc? And what would be an example of an afflicted Sun in the composite?

What about Moon square Jupiter? I've read that Jupiter even in hard aspects are still good.
