Lie conjunct moon in the composite doesn't automatically mean that the woman will lie to their partner. It's important to always remember that there is both light and dark in asteroids (and planets).

This connection could represent that their may "lie" to protect the other partner from feeling down. How many partners lie to their other half when they say they look great when in fact they've put on 20 lbs and may not be as appealing to the eye. Or say a new haircut looks good when it's not, just because the other person needs approval or praise?

This placement can also represent a protective quality to the relationship. One where one or both of the partners would protect each other from deception that could appear from outside sources. Good example would be if an person wanted to deceive one of the partners into making a shady business deal that could harm the stability of the relationship.

This probably will be more relatable to me. I've on a few occasions warned him of people who were trying to take advantage of him and those who were insincere. But I sometimes fear if he finds me overly paranoid instead.
