Topic: Venus conjunct North Node Synastry- anyone have it in a long term relationship?

I wanted to bump this thread I found while searching the internet - does anyone have anymore input for it? I recently met someone from a mutual group with their NN in their chart conjunct my Venus. Never seen it before. Their NN also conjunct my SN (and of course vice versa because of the nodes). Saturn in my chart trine their Venus and Mars conjunction. Those were the aspects that stood out at first glance after I had a birth time. I’m not that experienced with synastry charts to pull better info.
We have a powerful and comfortable connection, one I have never experienced before. I tried to run away and it doesn’t work lol. It feels right no matter what topic we talk about but I don’t want anything more than friendship for I am happy with my life as it is. And we are both in relationships. I’ve never felt so shaken up and confused though, even worse after they mentioned falling for me and keeps mentioning wanting more - “ready for change”. Anyway, it is interesting to come across multiple sources that mention this can indicate a lack of longevity or not working out due to outside factors. I could see similar playing out because I don’t want anything more. Timing is all wrong, too late. Does anyone else have similar experience?

Me and my bf of 1 year 3 months have this and we are still going strong... it is excact my nn his venus(5th house ruler). I think othet aspects would indicate it not working i see this one as pretty binding especially under 1degreeIP: Logged |

I've had this in synastry 3 times (I'm the North Node, they were the Venus) and it never lasted. One was a 3 year long relationship, one was a 1 year long relationship, and the other one was a casual dating situation. It's honestly put me off of Aqua Venuses for life tbh. Not because I don't enjoy them but I lowkey think this aspect is cursed. IP: Logged |

What's your guys' experience with both Venus conjunct NN and Venus conjunct SN in the same synastry? This woman I work with has her NN conjunct my Venus in Virgo at 4°, and my SN conjuncts her Venus in Libra at 9°. I'm 12 years older than her, if that matters. if North Node isn't “ready”, their attraction creates confusion in the Venus person’s capacity [for relationship]. North Node can be fearful of where their soul is meant to go. Venus loves, NN desires.Like ToughPrincess, Venus my 5th House ruler conjuncts his NN exact°, though we’ve have yet to properly commit to each other. In and out of each other’s lives for six years now, even when overseas or in our own longterm relationships. I’ve recently told him to not contact me again because he knows explicitly at this point I want devotion from him or nothing. Because of the nature of North Node’s future orientation, this not to say that he won’t reach out again someday. My NNode conjuncts his Ascendent and Saturn. His Nodes square my ASC, conjuncts my Venus, opposes my Jupiter, and sextiles my Saturn.

My husband and I have this, his NN on my Venus. But we have a lot of other aspects going on if NN / Venus isn’t indicative of long term / success in relationships. IP: Logged |

My childhood best friend has his south node conjunct my Venus. I had a crush on him, but we were both too young to know much about dating at the time (we were probably around 11-12 when we hung out the most.)He moved away when we got older and we don’t really talk anymore (no hard feelings though). Does south node conjunct Venus indicate a past life relationship? IP: Logged |

I like the way you worded this. It is also interesting to read things about this aspect that don’t mention length/longevity. And lots of good feedback on this post. I liked reading all of the input and information. I see some similarities too  IP: Logged |
