I've experienced Saturn square Moon in synastry (my Saturn). Saturn is usually the one who censors the emotions but in my case, I feel that he's the one who does it. Quote from illumeastrology website: "If there are other aspects to the moon by the more romantic planets ie. Neptune, Venus, or Jupiter this will soften the Saturn effect and in some cases negate it entirely."
^Thankfully we also have Moon-Venus DW, Moon-Neptune DW and my Jupiter oppose his Moon so there are other nice negating aspects. Saturn square Moon, in our case, only shows up in tense moments.
However, this aspect in Composite seems to be more difficult as you can't negate a composite aspect. My friend has it with her husband (both in Composite & Davison) and theirs seem to creep up over the years culminating in a meltdown. They also have the love stellium + Moon sextile Sun/Venus and Moon trine Mars and I think this is why they lasted so long and continue to care for one another even though now their marriage is going through a very rough patch.
Another couple I know with composite Saturn opp Moon. No love stellium. The woman's feelings for the guy cooled over the years. 8yrs after their split, the woman still feels disgusted with the man.
I'm not putting a statement anywhere but just telling you what I've seen with Moon-Saturn with and without what I consider very loving aspects like the love stellium.
My advice to this aspect is both parties need to be extra tender in treating each other's emotions. Listen more, speak gently as the Moon is very sensitive.
