Hi! I've met someone whose Venus opposes my Sun and Ascendant, has anyone experienced it? How does the Venus person feels?

Wow but I'm the Sun person and to be honest, I don't feel the love...

There is something else going on like Moon/Saturn or Moon/moon in hard aspect, maybe.

No Moon Saturn, nor Moon/Moon.

Their Moon conjuncts my Venus (which makes me infatuated), their Pluto squares my Moon and my Saturn squares their Venus.

IME, in sun-venus synastry, the venus person tends to be the one who experiences the affection (regardless of the kind of aspect). In fact, I've actually been really surprised by how little the sun person seems to be affected either way. I've experienced this both as the sun and as venus.

I've only experienced this once, as the DSC, and I would say I absolutely see this person as "ideal" in many ways (I literally have a joke I tell people about "my type" that (accidentally/unintentionally) describes him to a t.
(***BUT his sun also conjuncts my NN and his jupiter conjuncts my moon, so I can't 100% attribute everything to venus/DSC***)

Funny. I have this config with someone. My Venus conjunct his DC. My sun conjunct his NN. And my Jupiter conjunct his Venus (and then 9 degree wide conjunct his moon). Our moons are trine. Did you ever properly date this “ideal” guy?

not "properly."

we matched on okcupid but didn't interact there, but he looked familiar and it turned out we had friends in common and a few days later we officially "met" at a show he was running with a friend of mine. we ended up having a very brief (3 week) fling-ish thing.* he ended things, we remained friendly acquaintances/friends.

a few months went by. I was writing a piece about dating app experiences, so I dug through my old accounts/screen grabs, and I discovered that we had actually matched on okcupid about two years before as well, and not only that, but about one year before, we'd matched on tinder *and* had an entire conversation neither one of us remembered having.

so, about 11 months after the initial "fling," we ran into each other at a show (not for the first time since he'd ended things-- we'd seen each other around/had friendly conversations many times during those 11 months), and ended up kissing that night and things progressed into another very short-lived fling. (maybe 3 1/2 weeks this time?)

we had a frank conversation at the end of that, and, essentially, we're not ever going to date/be romantically involved again, but we are still friendly acquaintances/friends.

I think he was always a big deal (in terms of emotional significance) to me, but I was never really that to him. like, adoration (on my end) vs enjoyment (on his end).

*we never slept together. or, rather, we never had sex (or did anything below the waist or even under the bra). we did have a bunch of nights during which we like, made out for hours while holding hands and then fell asleep and stayed cuddling and holding hands. I'm a very sex-positive person (I don't see anything wrong with having sex at any point in courtship), I just always had the sense that if I slept with him I would be way too vulnerable because he's always felt so significant to me.

(I've included our synastry, in case it helps clarify anything.)

ANYWAY, that's a very long way of saying, no, we didn't really ever date, but we also have moon quincunx moon. moon trine moon is a wayyyyyyy happier-seeming vibe!

(Sorry to hijack your thread nezumi)

Hard to see your synastry because the chart is split but Wow you also have Venus opposite Venus like mine! Fascinating stuff. Yeah me and my guy also have Jupiter conjunct each other’s Ascendants/Juno, so happiness was good when it was!
