but that's also probably because my venus is conjunct his descendant and my moon is conjunct his mars too

he's an aries ascendant with mars conjunct and his ascendant/descendant axis is the same degree as mine just reversed since my ascendant is libra with venus conjunct

Yeah I read what Cafe Astrology wrote about it... Funny the example they used applies to me. My Moon and ASC are both in the same sign in Gemini. And his Moon (Conjunct IC) conjuncts my Ascendant. So his Moon and IC angle conjuncts my AC angle.

However, although I feel that there's the emotional connection 'energy' there, I feel a bit disconnected. Which is why I was wondering if it's only the Moon person that feels it. Our Moons are in the same sign but not conjunct.

With this guy it feels very odd. I think the only time I felt some sort of connection was when I took a hit of weed with him lol. It's pretty foreign to me so affected me greatly and the connection then was INSANE. And the only planet of his aspecting my Moon is an inconjunct from Neptune. It's interesting how Neptune plays out here in conjunction with the state of mind I was in. It felt very unreal. Definitely Neptunian is what it felt like.

looking at vedic placements and nakshatras might help you understand the moon sign differences, too far apart to be conjunct usually means different nakshatras

in vedic my fiancee and i are both pisces moons but i'm revati she's uttara bhadrapada, apparently sharing a moon sign isn't the best for compatibility (but there's some **** with jupiter that sortof cancels out just how bad it is in our charts even though it's better if the woman's nakshatra comes after rather than before)

But like now... I can't really say I'm feeling anything. And was wondering if generally this is the case with this aspect of me being the Ascendant, that the Ascendant person is pretty indifferent to the goings on of it.

Hmm.. you can't really trust "weed" connection, can you? Haha... When I'm drunk, I also feel connected with everyone. 😅

As Asc person, I'm not indifferent to the connection so I believe the feeling is felt by both parties.

Besides Moon-Asc connection, my mom and I also have Moon-Venus conjunct and all our angles conjunct. I would think these connections alone should sweeten things but we've had a tumultuous connection. Even though it's been peace time for years, it still feels a little awkward. We can still easily rub each other the wrong way.

This is probably due to our Moon square/quincunx Mars DW, Pluto square Mars/Mercury. Her Saturn also square my Moon and I feel that she censors her affection for me.

this guy we're going out with on tuesday has his sun conjunct my moon and vice versa so that should be interesting i guess, his sun and mercury are on my descendant/north node my pluto is on his north node not sure how that'll turn out

Lol it's for sure true. But I dunno lol with him I feel that I want to. But I'm not sure it's actually there. Sometimes I feel it other times I don't. The crazy part is when I feel like 'forget it I'm not into him', he kinda matches it and then I'm like 'hey' lol. So it's messed up. I'm not sure if I wanna have that feeling with him only when he acts like 'good friends' at best or I wanna have it cuz I just do. It's confusing this ****.

Like as an example just this week I was teasing him. And he of course was teasing me in return. I took it so personally lolol. Cuz I felt he's tuned out, he shouldn't be acting like a d*** to me lol. When really I wasn't any better.

So like dunno it's fu3ked up. I feel that the fact that it's complicated makes me want it more. Does that makes sense? Fun stuff right here lol. Life's just good. 🤣

About Nakshatras stuff... Is it the 'sign' that the guys should come before? Meaning in my case I'm an early degree Gemini Moon while he's a late degree. And also I'm wondering, if it even makes sense cuz say if a woman is an early degree Aries Moon... I mean it can't get any earlier than that lol any guy would have his Moon after hers.

I've also been rethinking other conjunction connections in synastry. E.g. my ex and I have Venus conjunct Moon but I don't remember our interaction being sweet and tender. Instead, I enjoy a much sweeter connection with Venus trine/sextile Moon.

I don't feel touched by it, but rather like I wanna be there for his Moon stuff if that makes sense. Like I wanna get closer to him, just cuz of that vibration, but it definitely feels a bit disconnected.

I think your Asc conjunct his Moon is a strong aspect on its own, no? It supposedly makes Moon feel comfortable with the way you express yourself, like familiarity. This is also why, when in conjunction, can make Moon "think" that they know the Asc person inside out which may not be true if that Asc person turns out to be quite different in their core.

IME this can go both ways as Asc person will also feel the familiarity with how the Moon express their emotions.

I'm also thinking your feeling of disconnection could be because your Moon is "semi-aspected"? What do you mean by that anyway, lol? What are the aspects you actually have?

So yeah we're both Gemini Moons, but not conjunct. And even though they're both in the same sign... Yeah we're super similar but it still doesn't feel like it's really affected.
