Cupido in synastry isn't my favorite. Apparently, it's the "look of love to fool another". I had it in synastry with an old flame and it didn't end very well. This may have had something to do with our Venus square Neptune or our Saturn square Venus but regardless, I can only speak from experience. I came away from the situation feeling like I was the only one who cared. I felt very very VERY betrayed. (we did have Sedna touching mercury so that may have been a factor as well, just wanting to give you as much detail as possible.)

His Cupido was touching my Venus. I'm not sure who felt what, but it's a contact I prefer not to have again. Of course, it may show up again in synastry in the future, but I will be very wary. Tread lightly. It's not a fun asteroid. Cupido's an a$$hole.

What you described sounds more like Venus square Neptune which indicates disappointment in love. Venus square Saturn is the rejection of love.

What does Sedna indicate?

Interesting and I can relate to some extent with someone's cupido conjuncting my mars. Although I'm still convinced that he also had feelings to some extent, it was certainly much more superficial than for me.

Sedna indicates betrayal [from a man] but I think it also means betrayal in general. It's 90377 if you want to punch it into astro.com to see where it falls in your chart and/or synastry.
