S.Korean celebrities Song Joong Ki & Song Hye Kyo announced their divorced today. The golden couple's marriage only lasted for 2yrs (together for 3yrs).

Why they didn't last? Too much Saturn? Too much Pluto? Mars square Uranus?

Their ToBs unknown

It honestly just looks like they would have a more compatible friendship than a romantic relationship. Both the synastry and composite looks a bit dry.

His unaspected Mars and her (possibly) unaspected Venus don’t bode well for longevity. They don’t have anything in their charts that look like they would want to stay together. I think they just got bored of each other.

I don’t know. This looks very passionate. But I’m just looking at that Scorpio stellium lol.
But interesting that the transiting node squared their sun a few months back and is now conjunct their descendant!

His Mars square her Sun/Uranus/Lilith.
Her Venus trine his Sun/Mercury/Lilith/Eros.

And since Moon in a man's chart represents his wife. I checked it as well. His Moon (possibly) conjunct her Sun/Mercury/Uranus/Juno, trine NN.

Haha, I also love their stellium especially with Pluto in the mix. I wonder if Saturn had made it too serious and hard?

We don't know if tNNode is conjunct their Dsc as their ToBs are unknown. However, tUranus is opposing their stellium with tPluto/Saturn squaring it. tNeptune is also squaring their Nodes. This may have caused too much stress?

It’s funny because I was going to make a thread on this also 😂 But how come you have their birthplace in Singapore? I thought they were born in Korea?

Asteroids usually don’t hold the same weight as personal planet to personal planet aspects.

They just have very little personal contact between planets which is why I believe it didn’t work.

Sun/mars semi-square possibly, and I'm not a fan of all those saturn and pluto aspects. The mercury semi-square and mars square to Uranus creates unpredictability.

Because they are both celebrities with very demanding lifestyles? Obviously And the partnership was only build on "lust" and looking "good together" (the publics expectations).

Its already super hard when one in a partnership is a celebrity and the other one a commoner.

Even much more harder when both are celebrities and/or have demanding lifestyles. Probably they were together this long because of the publics expectations anyway . They also look very good of course, (with that much plastic surgery who wouldn't? ) and well "generally speaking" good looking people plus celebs usually have no hard time leaving a partnership when it has filled its purpose because its so easy for them to find new partners. There are researche published about celeb relationships. Astrology should not be used on celeb relationships because of some of the things a stated above. Celeb relationships are not simply reliable in short.

(I don't know thise guys or any korean celebs but I suspect they have even more unreasonable expectations and pressure layed upon them then the general celebs because, Korea).

They're one of the few S.Korean celebrities that didn't have plastic surgeries apparently, according to childhood photos. :P

Transit Uranus is opposite the composite Venus in Scorpio conjunct Moon and Pluto. This represents obsessiveness and possibly jealousy and the need to break free. The Sun is conjunct Pluto and Mercury in Libra. This represents the man in the relationship probably couldn't cope with the obsessiveness of the Scorpio energy.

I noticed that transit Uranus to Venus too. That must've cooled things off.

As for Sun-Pluto, wouldn't that usually imply the man being obsessive and possessive?

Lol I hope that was just irony from your part . Atleast the nose jobs and the jaw lines are appearant from miles away

In short, I would never use or apply astrology on celebs. Its just too unrelaible with so many factors mudding the waters, their lifes and relationships just are not natural often times.

Also one other problem is how celebs and models birth dates are often tampered with aswell in for ex age obsessed hollywood. Its very natural and normal to shave up to 2-6 years of ones real birth year but dunno if this is the case for Koreans aswell. Maybe not since their plastic surgeries keeps them "young" and baby faced anyway

Huh?

They have sun trine Moon with sun opposite moon so a sun aspect moon double whammy.

Add that mars square pluto for sexual attraction.

I mean the synastry is decent, specially when you factor in that composite pluto stellium involving moon and venus and sun. However, this stellium falls right on the person with Sun in libra and moon conjunct venus in scorpio so I am willing to bet the moon in scorpio person was more attached to the idea of the relationship and more invested in the relationship and hence with that unbalance of one person feeling more invested and accessing the energy of the relationship more that it didn't work out long term.

I did just read that Mars apsect Pluto in synastry is super super hot and generates a lot of sexual desire but it eventually burns out completely according to Magi Astrology that is:

*Fireworks"* Linkage (Mars + Pluto)
This linkage makes a couple desire one another RIGHT NOW, regardless of time or place- it burns VERY hot for months or even a few years. However, the Mars-Pluto linkage INEVITABLY burns out completely, whether or not a couple marries, leaving nothing but ashes. This is another case where the partners wonder-- WHAT HAPPENED? With this linkage too, the partners may begin to blame each other for the loss of attraction. This linkage is SO HOT that clients seldom believe it when they're told this linkage will burn out until it's too late. : )
