I feel like the pull you had towards her and why you both became friends was fated. You have SN and Sun contact. As well as both sides have NN and planets contact.

Sometimes SN contact can feel draining and hold people back. Both people involved or one person.

Crazy that the astrology seems so spot on with my relocating ha! I just needed a change, a new environment and new people. And it happened only a few days after my 41st birthday lol.

You're right though...she grounded me a lot. I think with my SN on her sun maybe I just drained her too much at this point in her life, without intending to of course I was really trying to survive the emotional turmoil I was feeling.
Neptune is causing all sorts of fun yes. I'm feeling like at the moment people are dropping away like flies. I'm looking at them differently, wondering if I really wanna be hanging out with 24 years olds right now....I've always had younger friends but being in a new city with these hollywood dreamers, it's a bit hmmm....too fake..
That's why I miss her so much too. She's always been one of the mot authentic people in my life. So selfless like me. We were always there for one another at the drop of a hat.

Some friendships need constant presence. Some people need you there to be involved and putting the efforts. its like a relationship some people can not do long distance. Just like you said she has kids. And she can be very busy too. Long distance requires hard work. Just stay in touch with her and give her space. Sag people appreciate their own space to think things over. Also they appreciate a talk from the heart. I would mail to her a gift with a note. To show that you are willing to make the effort. sometimes people show up to teach us things then the lesson ends and things end. especially with node aspects.

my friend has a cancer rising conjunct your venus, a hard neptune-sun aspect, a leo mars and a scorpio moon conjunct pluto. we have a grand cross in composite that tends to repeat the same issues over and over again. it was time for me to get past that energy in my life.

you guys have some moon issues in the composite too, and a venus-neptune opposition with your friend symbolizing neptune and you as the venus, you probably idealize her and could be frequently disappointed by her because she's actually not who you want her to be. or it seems like she is and then she lets you down right when it seems like everything is going perfectly. your moon-pluto square has you symbolizing moon and her pluto. i'm not doubting your love for each other but she could feel an unrelenting pressure to make you happy and not have the energy for it at this time in her life.

in my case my friend keeps pressuring me to contact her which makes me continue to need more space, because i feel she isn't respecting this need and doesn't care that i need space, just wants to pretend like nothing's wrong and keep our toxic patterns. but you guys don't have the same grand cross that we do so it's probably less of a permanent toxic scenario. she'll probably come back just give it time. you have the mars square uranus and sun opposite uranus in the composite after all, there has to be room for freedom or disruptions will ensue.

I think that this estrangement is momentarily as the pluto/moon midpoint is at 3 virgo 2 and the composite mars/Saturn midpoint is at 3virgo36. so as the node moves off this composite moon/pluto square, the realtiohsip will rebound.

your natures are very different as hers is characterized by her mars/Uranus square and Neptune Saturn square so she might be quick to take offense or feel slighted.
where as you are characterized by your mars/Saturn conjunct and might take the separation deeper.

there are similarities between you because you also have Uranus on your ascendant but her urnaus is a bit more primed to react against a offense than you are.

the composite has a couple of favorable trine sextiles ,so I suggest you let time heal this separation and don't make it a big issue for now.
