I found the old thread on this topic before it was moved to interpersonal, and then didn't see it again, but still wanted to share my thoughts.

I have been in love with someone since I was 17, we have the nn conjunct saturn double whammey, my south node is conjunct his DC (and my NN conjunct his ASC), his mars and merc, and with a slightly larger orb (from the 6th house) his venus are all conjunct my DC. We also have a grand fire trine involving both of our Neptunes, his venus, and my mars. My Pluto is opposite his venus and conjunct his moon. It's a pretty incredible connection.

I love him, have always loved him, feel better with no one...and yet...I am married to someone else, and he is married to someone else. My take is that Saturn is holding us to responsibilities we agree to take on, and that IF we can be together, we have to be quite organized in our selves, resolved with our marriages (that is to say, divorced and healed) and that a possible marriage late in life is possible between us. I know we both wish for it, we've communicated our connection and desire and mourned the missed opportunities we've had...but ultimately, the connection itself is one of the most powerful i know of. It is hard to separate out the NN conjunct Saturns from the several DC conjunctions we have, but I did want to say that while it tracks that a NN conjunct Saturn relationship doesn't get off the ground, its not because it doesn't want to...it just takes a big commitment, and that's totally possible with this placement.

I have this double whammy aspect as well with the person I love. On top of tight ASC, IC, DC, MC conjunctions, both angles and to planets.

In my case, the relationship did get off the ground (attached at the hip) to being engaged but we also have double-whammy Jupiter-Juno/Alma.

Saturn is Time. If you want it, you have to put in the effort, today and every day, then it’s a matter of time. Issue with Saturn is only it keeps score and eventually resets the clock. But I think it’s a heavy-lifter as far as NN power goes, other planets on people’s NN get exhausted.

I know this is silly to say, but what keeps you in your marriage? Ever considered tipping the scales by filing for a divorce on your own behalf without needing a safety net that he’ll follow suit? Faith

I’ll tell you a story. Since me and my love separated, I can’t fathom being with anyone else in this lifetime (I also don’t know what else is in store). So, a part of the “healing process” is going at it alone until my dreams come true. What would you do for love?

So many feelings about so much of this : ) Suffice to say, I have been considering that route, am making some pretty enormous changes in my life, and am exploring what it could be like to take the divorce step on my own just to resolve some difficulties in my own life. Yes, faith would be involved if he were part of that story, but I do feel if I do that it has to be for myself and no other reason. I stay because though my marriage suffers from lack of connection, my husband is a really good man and a wonderful friend. So, long term, my first project is to separate in good standing and become supportive friends who don't live together. That will take time for me to work out in a fair way but I think that doing something well with a sense of fairness and compassion is important.

Saturn is time, totally true. I think I'm working out karmic realities and living through my choices so that I understand making choices better. I do think I will be with this person later in life, and I don't think it's that far off, I just thinks it's not now...and not to be forced.

Thanks for the questions : )

What about you...do you trust the being apart aspect? Does your love know how you feel right now? Curious, if you want to share.
