Recently learning how much my progressed chart influences who I am attracted to. I’ve been attracted to Scorpio, Virgo, Capricorn, pisces (specifically sun and moon placements) and couldn’t understand why because I have a Leo heavy chart including ASC, Sun, Moon, & Venus. All of my planets are in Virgo in the progressed chart besides Mars in Gemini. Could this be the reason why? Has anyone else had a similar experience with being attracted to your progressions as opposed to natal? And if so, does this attraction end once they progress into the next sign and no longer tie to the others natal? That actually worries me lol because it’s like you are not compatible at the core only for a period of time.

For example someone I recently dated is a natal Capricorn sun and Libra/Scorpio moon (not sure because of time) but their moon conjunct Saturn/ Pluto. This does not sound like someone who would be compatible with me - a natal Leo sun and moon. But just checked and their sun and moon are progressed into Aquarius almost exact opposite my natal sun/moon. And my Progressed moon/sun in Virgo is tied to their natal sun/moon. Also their progressed Pisces Mars is compatible with my natal Taurus Mars while my progressed Gemini Mars is compatible with their natal Aquarius Mars. All the progressions to natals work, while the natal to natal aren’t compatible.

I was told that you can check your pMoon. When my Moon progressed into Cancer, I met my guy who's strong Lunarian/Cancerian. He also has Asc/Mars/Jupiter in Cancer. Then again, I've a 7th house Moon so I've always attracted guys with some kinda Cancerian energies.

I haven't noticed similar patterns with other progressed planets. I've pSun/Mercury in Gemini, pVenus in Leo and pMars in Aries now. Other than Leo, I haven't noticed a rise in Gemini/Aries guys around me.

I've also been attracting Virgos... and that's my IC.

Thank you Hikaru29! So you did notice a little shift of attraction/ attracted to the sign of progression? I just am always attracted to signs incompatible with my sun/ moon and am wondering if this is why. Or could be other reasons. I have progressed sun, moon, Venus and mercury in Virgo for another 1 or 2 years before some progress into Libra.

It could be though I'm not sure if it happens all the time with the other progressed planets. When I met my ex, my pVenus conjunct his nSun. His pMoon conjunct my nVenus. With another ex when we met, his pVenus conjunct my nMoon and his pMoon conjunct my natal Sun.
