What aspect/placement that makes someone loves argument and being competitive?

I think Aries placements. Or Libra mercury. My grandpa and mom have Libra mercury and they love to argue. One of my friends had Sagittarius mercury and she also loved to argue. She even said herself that she loves to argue and that her family says she should be a lawyer 😂But Im not 100% sure what people define as argumentative.
I have Mars in the 7th house and I don't like arguing just for the sake of it. I will defend myself but usually in conversations I try to avoid it. I find it nerve-racking. Especially because I do tend to keep a lot to myself. I have a lot of 12th house placements. But sometimes I suppose some people consider defending yourselves or expressing how you feel as being argumentative. So I guess it depends.
Like sometimes Im just trying to discuss things about how I feel and people say it's arguing and Im like???? Can people not express how they feel without it being called a fight? I don't get that. Or when you try to express how you feel to someone or talk about something they did that you didn't like and they get all dramatic "I don't want to talk about it" yet they can express how they feel to you but they don't like it the other way around. It's so frustrating. I don't get overwhelmed when someone wants to discuss something with me, so if that is considered arguing then I suppose that's me. A lot of people don't like to talk about how they feel to others and I think it's important because then you just brush over things and things just build and build til they explode. ------------------
