I’ve read that 12H placements in a composite chart can be really difficult. Which scares me considering mine and my bf’s chart has a lot of 12th house placements. Can anyone help? Any comments will be appreciate. Thank you!!

Our composite chart can be found here btw: https://www.flickr.com/photos/184991896@N03/?

Yes cuz they are suppressed things and when things are suppressed in a relationship, it is not good. However, if anything is within 10 degrees of the ASC,it counts as first house

What kind of things can be suppressed?

For example, if the Moon is in the 12th house, the people may not be open emotionally with each other. I would not get married with a Comp chart having 12th house planets.

Hi emeraldgreengoddess,

the Composite 12th house is very binding cause it's a karmic house, but it might be a bond about "unattainable" aspects of your relationship or difficulty in solving core issues.
Natally, you both have strong 12th house placements, so this is an energy you're familiar to, but at the same time it points to some difficult achievements and this energy is reflected in your relationship.
Looking at your Composite and Synastry, it seems that some balance at the emotional level is difficult to achieve. Your relationship has some unusual traits reflecting your individual personalities and you both might subconsciously recognize your own individuality in such dynamics, but some Neptune harsh aspects suggest that there is an underlying unbalance you might not admit/accept or that is hidden by a strong idealization of the other. This aspect is very strong and it suggests that such an issue is actually divisive and might take you to separation or to just stay "unsolved" between the two. Since the 12th house planets are square to the Moon, it seems that this might arise conflicts affecting your emotional and intimacy sphere.
It might also be that your relationship has an "escapism" (conscious or unconscious) side. You both have Chiron in 1st house Cancer and Moon square to MC, so you might have had some difficulties in your family environments affecting your individuality and emotional developments, so you might share this issue and since you have Sun/Chiron conjunct Jupiter/Chiron in synastry, you might have found psychological support in each other and this looks like your bond is established on this trait.
The problem is that you are so similar in this that you might also trigger your wounds to each other and this can become divisive unless you establish a more balanced and open intimacy, because something looks in denial or hidden, not completely clear between the two. Pluto is square to NN and you have DW Mercury square Mars in synastry, with Mars square Moon and MC so you might be very careful in how you communicate because you can become very harsh to each other and this is threatening the stability of your relationship in the long run.
He has some strong material or professional ambition in his life and this can also arise conflicts.
You also have some common goals and plans or might share some activity/interest, since Composite Saturn is trine to Mars and conjunct Neptune, so this is a strong idealization you share for your future and this also seems a strong trait in your relationship. Since Composite Pluto is sextile to Saturn and Neptune, and Pluto is in 6th house, this suggests that this is the sphere you have to focus more in order to keep the bond and achieve things together. The 12th house stellium is very binding, but in this picture it points to the fact you might have to get more aware of the potential divisive issues and let go of some selfish and "stubborn" attitudes of yours against each other.

My husband and I have 12th house planets in our composite.

We are best friends and are very compatible... we “get” each other.

Of course we come across difficulties, but that is part of marriage and life in general, and how you approach and work through those difficulties is what matters.

I agree that this is possible with Composite 12th house placements. It still depends on the general Composite picture and whether you both have strong 12th house placements natally (this actually applies to emeraldgreengoddess' case).

Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to interpret our composite chart. I can definitely relate to every single thing you said. I was especially curious to get help in interpreting our chart because we have been going through some problems recently. Which have to do with his ambitions, as you mentioned. He is in the army and I feel like he's more concerned about having a successful career and traveling than in working on our relationship. Yes, our childhood traumas are coming into play. And I think we can definitely relate to our individual 12H placements and our gemini placements and that is what initially brought us together. I think there is definitely an emotional disconnect considering he has a Gemini moon and I have a water moon in Scorpio. I guess I will just have to find out if we are indeed destined for the long run (another thing you noted on based on our chart). I am glad however, to hear that all these problems arising aren't just part of my imagination and they are actual things that are needed to be worked on.

Thank you! This gives me some hope to stick it through a bit longer and see if we can work things out. I was honestly ready to give up and was even more disillusioned to read so many sites that note that 12H placements are not good for marriage.

Thank you for you feedback emeraldgreengoddess!

Yes, he seems to have a strong devotion to his future professional goals and from his natal chart this seems a priority in his life, I'm wondering whether he feels you dont understand his ambition, but some aspects point also to the fact that he's not completely open to you about this, Composite Neptune/Uranus opposite Jupiter looks like he wants to be independent in his choices and life direction and that there are things that remain unsaid or hidden from you, or you might not fully grasp aspects of his personality that remain unknown to you beyond appearance or your idealization of him.

Thank you for elaborating! You are helping bring some clarity into my current situation. I am definitely stuck between staying in this relationship and being supportive of his ambitions, even if it means we will remain long distance for the next 2-3 years. Or, walking away to prevent getting more hurt and disappointing when he insists on choosing his own path and forget to include me in his plans...

Ok great!

So we have mars / Pluto conj. within 10 degrees of asc.
That would be good?

How would that manifest?
